Second Floor Common Room, Friday evening

Dinah had managed to get a copy of Richard III and cued it up, and now had big bowls of popcorn ready for throwing or munching. She'd sent out a handwavey e-mail to fellow cast members, in case they wanted to watch it too.

She hadn't noticed it yet, but one of the bowls was about to walk off as a hat worn by an adorable little fuzzy thing.

Jennifer was just as startled.

"Whoa. Fuzzy food thief," she said. "Don't think it's a fellow student, do you?"

The little guy blinked at them cutely, then toddled forward, arms out toward the popcorn bowl again, chirruping. "I don't think so... Hey, little guy. You anyone we know?" Dinah asked, throwing a kernel of popcorn at it.

It hopped up and caught the popcorn in its mouth, then giggled and rubbed its tummy. "Awwww."

"Well, whatever it is, it's cute," Jennifer said, walking closer. "You lost, little guy?"

Dinah noticed another one determinedly heading for the other popcorn bowl, and started to laugh. "Okay, if we feed you guys, will you leave the popcorn here?" The second, lighter-colored one peered over the sofa at her, then started to bounce. "Cool. Jen, you want a drink?"

"Please," Jennifer said. "So what are we watching... is that Shakespeare?"

She tilted her head. The visual interpretation was definitely... striking.

"Richard III," Dinah said, wandering over with her drink, and taking a handful of popcorn as she settled in on the couch. The cute thing sat next to her, and peered at the TV screen. "The play we're doing at the Boards this semester. Sam's playing Richard. Tony's supposed to be here pretty soon, we always watch the movie early on in the run so we can figure out kinda what we're doing."

"Oh, cool," Jennifer said, taking the drink. "I'll definitely have to see that. So this is sort of the... search for inspiration?"

"And translation." Dinah grinned a little. "It's not like the language is exactly easy to figure out. You really do need to see it in person, not read it. Even after three plays, I'll take any help I can get on these." She cocked her head. "So how are you classes going this semester?"

"Good point," Jennifer said. "I'm no actress, so I hadn't even thought about that. Very smart of you, actually."

She smiled, settling into a seat. "Classes are good. Law and Order was a little weird today, though, wasn't it?"

"A little," Dinah said, shaking her head. "You know who those two guys remind me of?" Aside from a dog and a rabbit, that was. "The weird weekends we get here, sometimes. Hard to know how real they are."

"Justice and Law," Jennifer said. "Which is taught by my boss from the law firm. It's pretty great, actually. And then there's the horror class which... might be the most insightful one of all."

"Mitchell's teaching that one, right? I had two of his other classes, they were awesome," Dinah said. "Most insightful?"

"I mean, it's very analytical," Jennifer said. "You learn a lot about people when you look at what they're afraid of, and what they call monstrous."

"Oh, I don't think I'm a monster," Jennifer clarified. "But my reputation back home right now... or at least, the She-Hulk's reputation is along those lines."
