So there was officially a hockey team at Fandom now.  Which meant that George figured he probably ought to watch more hockey.  Or more than jus' the games wit' the Red Wings playin'.  

Which would be why George had cookies and hockey on the television.  The Sabres and the Hurricanes.  He kinda like that goalie who was on the Sabres.  Ryan Miller?  Sounded like a good type a lad. 

He was also taking notes.  For - the hockey team.  Or possibly doodles about random things involving blonde girls with pretty teeth eyes.

"Aww, why not?" Alex wondered. "Don't wanna know what the fairer sex goes through? Could be a learning experience for you."

"Twas a girl already that one day," he replied, making a face. "I don' need t'look like Jaina ever again."

"Least you got to be a hot girl, right?" Alex pointed out. "Could've been ugly and old. Take the good stuff where you can, Junior."

"Aww, 'm sorry ye had t'be ugly and old, Karev," George said, pretending to be serious. "Did ye end up all saggy?"

"Awww, you don't know what you're talking about," Alex said, shaking his head. "I was plenty hot, thank you. Had enough girls thinking that to make me feel fine."

George had to think about that for a moment. "...why would th'lasses be th'ones t'judge if ye were hot when ye were a lass?"

"Because they just didn't judge with words," he said, looking smug. "Demonstrations, my friend!"

He stared for just a moment. Why did he have to be able to see that was truth?

"Nuh uh."

"Yes huh," Alex said, smirking. "You don't think girls would be interested in experimenting? They're curious too!"

"Now 'm wonderin' if they're experimentin' when they do turn into us too."

"That I don't know," he admitted, shrugging. "I got into a fight with one of the girls who ended up a guy when that happened."

Pause.

"Not a fist fight."

"...probably a good thin'," George agreed. "I don' think th'lasses around here would be likin' that so much. Why ye fight wit' her? DIdn' want t'be experimentin'?"

"No, we just fight all the time," Alex told him, shrugging. "I think it's a hobby now."

George shrugged a little. "I've heard it does work that way wit' some o' th'lasses. They like ye t'fight wit' 'em so they know ye care or somethin'."

"Amazingly, sometimes it works," Alex said, shrugging. "You fight with girls too, then?"

"Not if I can help it," he said quickly. "They get mean when ye cross 'em!"

"That sounds a little wimpy there, George," Alex said, amused. "You're afraid of girls?"

"Why would I be afraid of girls?" he asked, frowning at Alex. "I jus' like 'em more when they're not mad at me and yellin' or hittin' or somethin'."

"Sometimes that can be hot," Alex said, shrugging. "It's one of the reasons I try to piss some girls off intentionally."

George eyed him thoughtfully. "An' they like it?"

"Yep!" Well, Alex thought they did so of course he was going to say that and believe it. "Come on, a little aggression, a little edginess? It's awesome. Makes things more intense."

He was going to have to think about that and how hard his mam would smack him if she found out he'd tried to piss off th'lasses like that, but George nodded slowly.

"As long as your lass likes it," he said finally.

"I'm still sleeping with her so I'm guessing she likes it all right." Sleeping with. Not dating. No.
