Cheerleader Tryouts -- The Gym, Sunday Morning

Savannah got to the gym early to set things up for try-outs. She had mats and tables pulled out, with refreshments available for both the current cheerleaders and those trying out.

There was a table arranged with clipboards for the squad members to write notes as they watched the hopefuls try-out. There was also a portable stereo for those routines that were choreographed to music.

It was time for try-outs for the Fandom High Gremlins!

She paused.

"Why am I here again?"

"That whole gymnastics thing," K-Mart pointed out. "We like flexibility in our cheerleaders."

"Neither had I, before Savannah urged me to do it," K-Mart said with a shrug. "I mean, I didn't do it just for shits and giggles, but I hadn't seriously expected to make it onto the squad. And yet here I am."

"I made the mistake of telling Tori," she muttered. "She dared me to go through with the try-out and told me if I didn't, she'd tell the guys I chickened out."

But said with mostly good-natured affection, based on what little she knew of the girl and the like five minutes she'd handwavily talked to her over Parent's Weekend.
