Third Floor Common Room - Tuesday evening - 02/09
Liir was baking.
Not only was he baking because he wanted to provide something delicious and freshly baked for the inhabitants of the dorm, but he wanted to bring a set of a very specific kind of cookie to work with him tomorrow for his boss.
The cookie was a favorite, of course, but more specifically, it was the first cookie that he'd ever made with Miss Lulu: a rather naughtily named confection of chocolate and hazelnut which had provided more than one laugh over the, goodness, two years or so since he'd come to the Island. And now she was back, Miss Lulu, and Liir could scarcely think of anything else.
Makejoy was just chuffed that Liir seemed to be out of his funk.
[open as a common room is + chocolate and hazelnut cookies!]

"Hey, you," she said, bending down to give Makejoy scritches. "Whatcha makin'?"
no subject
Blink. Blink blink.
Well.
no subject
"Um... never heard of those."
no subject
"They're a speciality of Miss Lulu, who is the one who taught me to make them. And trust me when I say that I turned a slightly more wine-tinged version of that very color when she told me the name of them. But they are delicious."

Lest he get the wrong idea.

He pointed to the plate on one side where the hazelnut cookies (with a center of chocolate) were cooling.

"So what made you decide to bake tonight?" she asked.
no subject
"I have work tomorrow. Miss Lulu has taken over the cafe and I just thought I'd bring her a little surprise."
no subject
The whole thing made a lot more sense now. "She's the one who taught you how to bake, right?"

"Hello, Hayley. If you'd like some of the cookies, there's a few already cooled out on the table."

"Oral Sex is the name of the cookies," and he was careful not to burn his arm even as his sleeve pulled away from the mit right near the edge of the oven, "and they're chocolate and hazelnut."
La di da da da.

"So you're offering me..." she giggled before she could say the name. "You're offering..." she trailed off in giggles again.
"They're..." Nope, still giggling.
no subject
Perhaps it wasn't the comic timing.
"Yes, as much as you'd like."
no subject
"I don't think I'm gonna be able to chew without choking!" she said, her eyes watering.
no subject
"That's really a terrible shame. They're rather nice to enjoy when you can."
