Support Services Meeting: 1st Floor Lobby, Friday after classes

In the lobby (because it's cold out there) but out of the way of the ticket-sales, there was an entire table full of pink-frosted valentine cupcakes and a girl with pink frosting on her nose, but those two facts were utterly unconnected.

Really.

Hang out and nom some cupcakes. Available in both chocolate and vanilla for the allergic and the still-having-flashbacks-to-itchy-spots.

Arthur was there and not eating, like clockwork. It was a Thing.

Mmmm cupcakes. Claire was definitely going to help herself to one of those.

Robin, turn down cupcakes? Never! He had both a chocolate one and a vanilla one. Commence sugar induced bouncing in 3-2-1, mark!

Today, Warren was giving this whole 'don't put on the heavy overcoat' thing a try. After all, there really didn't seem like there was much of a point after the swimsuit thing that they did in Deadpool's class yesterday.

So, there he was, wings folded to his back and picking at a vanilla cupcake. He was a little busy being paranoid at the moment. Once he relaxed some, he'd get on with doing that eating thing, honest.

Cupcakes, cool. Very Valentiney. Dinah approved.

Francine wasn't letting people chow down on all the cupcakes, though. She had Ye Olde List Of Reserve Member Cell Numbers in hand, with a stack of copies for people to pick up sitting next to the cupcakes.

"So last weekend, we had a meeting with all of the reserve leaders, and one of the things they could use help from us with is communications, getting hold of everybody when something happens. We'll work on setting up a phone tree, but sometimes it's gonna take a little more work than just calling - we might have to hunting people down to let them know. Sooooo..."

Francine held up a cupcake in one hand, and the list of Magic Reserve and Military Reserve members in the other.

"Everybody grab two cupcakes, and deliver one to a fighty reservist and one to a magic reservist. Then you can come back and chow down on your own." Like they hadn't already been. "More of your own."

"I could deliver them both to me," Dinah joked, then grinned and took two. "But I think I'll share the sugary wealth."

Francine considered wearing the Sugar Shock costume. For approximately 0.5 seconds. Ahahaha no.

Morgana was going to end up in a sugar coma today from the sheer amount of chocolate frosting entering her body, but oh, what a way to go.

"Should I go hide to made the delivery harder?" Jacob asked, because it did seem like he was making the task a whole lot easier by showing up.

"No! Don't you dare hide!" Morgana said. Was he more handsome today than he'd been the last time she saw him, or was that the sugar talking?

Probably the sugar.

Jacob grinned at her. "No? Are you sure? You sound uncertain," he teased.

No, he definitely looked hotter somehow. It was a nice surprise.

Morgana reached over to try to grab his arm. "I'm very certain. Would you like a cupcake? As a member of the military reserve, you're supposed to get one."

Maybe being emo increased his hotness? Except for how he looked rather content at letting her stop him. He was even going to be cooperative and take a step closer.

"Wait. Am I only getting one because I'm with the military reserve?" he asked.

"Perhaps," Morgana teased. "Or it could be that I think you deserve one just for being you."

Jacob grinned. "Does that mean I get two then? I know you're very generous like that."

Morgana pretended to think about that for a moment. "I suppose. We have two different kinds. Then you won't have to choose."

"See? You're nice too," he pointed out and leaned forward a little. "I knew I could count on you. How's your week been?"

"Quite good," she said. "It seems there's some big event starting soon? Olympics, I think? It sounds very exciting."

"Winter Olympics," he nodded. "They're holding it up in Vancouver apparently. That's not too far from La Push."

"Oh really?" Morgana laughed. "I'm terrible with the geography of this place. People speak of coming from all over, but I only have a vague idea of where everything is."

"Don't worry about it," he said easily. "I don't have a clue where most stuff is."

"Then we can be confused together," Morgana said with a laugh. She might have really liked the together part, the dork.

Complete dork, but it was cute.

"Sure," he grinned and glanced at the cupcakes. "So are you going to offer me one? I might starve otherwise."

Morgana smiled at him and took one of each cupcake, holding one in each hand. "Which would you like first?"

"I don't know," he said thoughtfully. "Am I supposed to save the best for last or start with it?"

Just grab a cupcake, Jake. It wasn't like he'd didn't like them both.

"I like to save the best for last. It's up to you which you think is the best, I suppose," Morgana said.

"Maybe that's not cupcake related?" he suggested as he took the vanilla cupcake from her.

"Oh?" Morgana asked, not entirely certain what he meant by that.

And he wasn't going to make it easy so he shrugged at her and quickly took a bite before he gave himself away. "Good cupcake," he mumbled.

"Francine is an excellent cook," Morgana said with a smirk. "I'm glad you like them."

"But your presentation skills were excellent too," he defended. Though really, he needed to thank Francine at some point for feeding him indirectly too.

"And here I thought lessons in posture and poise wouldn't serve me well here," Morgana teased.

Jacob snorted. "You actually got lessons in that? I'm so glad I didn't grow up in your time now."

"I had to learn how to be a proper lady, even while learning how to fight with Arthur," Morgana said. "There are many, many things I like more about this time than my own."

"But you do beat a lot of girls in being the lady department," he told her, his eyes glinting with mischief. "So that's got to count for something."

"How very kind of you to say that. You don't think the sword takes away from me being a lady?" she asked.

"You carry it very gracefully," he said in his most solemn voice. He wasn't very good at being solemn.

Think totally voluntary interaction-scavenger-hunt. Also I want cupcakes.

That cupcake icon is, like, rainbows-and-puppies levels of adorable.

I love the scene it's taken from in Popular; it's Carmen telling the cupcake she loves it, but they have to stop seeing each other because it's no good for her.
