3rd Floor Common Room, Monday Evening

Tanned and rested from a vacation--where no evil mutants or natural disasters struck--Jean was going to settle in for whatever she could find on TV tonight.

It ended up being something about kids living and loving in New Jersey.

Something was terribly, terribly wrong here.

[[Open as common rooms are!]]

"That's what I told Fury's representative. More or less," Layla said stretching out her legs and putting her feet on the coffee table. "I have more of an obligation to help out mutants though I belong more to the X-Factor team."

"The who?" Kurt asked. He sighed and rubbed his forehead. "Ach, all the different VERSIONS of our universe keep making my head hurt."

Layla gave him a sympathetic look. "X-Factor," she replied. "They used to be the original X-Men and then it was a government sponsored group of mutants and now it's a mutant detective agency lead by a grown up Jamie Madrox."

"Little Jamie?!?!" Kurt asked, astounded. "A LEADER?" He shrugged and grinned. "Well, good for him! I always knew he was good for something other than filling up the hallway when he fell down."
