Tanned and rested from a vacation--where no evil mutants or natural disasters struck--Jean was going to settle in for whatever she could find on TV tonight.

It ended up being something about kids living and loving in New Jersey.

Something was terribly, terribly wrong here.

After the week he'd had, Jono found himself needing to get the hell out of his room, to wander around and pretend that he was a far more social creature than he actually was. Now and again, he liked to catch people off-guard that way. Just to keep them guessing.

Today's effort saw him heading down to the third floor, peering into the common room, noticing a familiar somebody within, and deciding to head inside and find a place to settle.

"Jono," Jean replied, not one to be put off by his inherent Jono-ness. "How was your break?"

"Hi, you," Didi said lazily once she'd retrieved her soda. She found a seat near him. "How was your day?"

Being back in Fandom meant Jen could go back to being big and green. It just felt better, to be honest.

She walked in and was fascinated by the TV.

"...what is that?" she asked.

"MTV, I think." You can tell by the lack of music. "There doesn't seem to be much else on."

Bruce crossed over with Marvel walked into the common room and gave Jean a smile. He gave everyone else the very, very slight smile that he defaulted to when he was being social without really trying. "Evening. Are those Jersey accents?"

"I think so. It's supposed to be set there." She was hoping it was a comedy. Hoping to god.

Jean, remember your girlish manners. She smiled at him, scooting over on the couch. "Hi."

Kurt watched Bruce and Jean with a bit of a frown. Bruce was ENTIRELY too not-Scott. He'd have to consult with Kitty.

Still, he returned Bruce's smile with a larger one and waved.

"No more of those sports competitions?" Elena asked, poking her head into the common room and glancing at the television. "Those were fun."

"No, those ended last night," Jean replied sympathetically. Not that she watched them.

Jean was in the common room, watching TV. Which meant she was TOTALLY wide open to someone crawling quietly across the ceiling and attempting to drop popcorn in her hair. Without snickering, even.

"Hey Jean," Didi said as she wandered into the common room and started poking through the fridge for a soda. She glanced up and squinted at the TV. "Do you think the orange girl is that color on purpose?"

"...I hope not." Jean looked over at Jono and then back at Didi. "I heard someone went to Disneyland."
