True to her promise to Dinah, Claire slipped quietly out of the room when she woke up on Saturday morning, wanting to give her roommate time to get rest and completely unaware of anything amiss in Fandom.

She decided to make pancakes and figured the smell of food would draw in people, so she started making a rather large batch.

"Canary. Black Canary. It's a codename, actually." Dinah smiled sideways. "And a long story. But I'll definitely tell Miss DeWitt that you were here if I see her, Mr. Dawson." And whew. Maybe this kid wouldn't end up drowning at the end of the weekend, and if his girlfriend were around, that took care of her too. Hopefully.
