Third Floor Common Room, Wednesday Morning
It felt like a good day to at least pretend to be social.
This meant that Kate was spending her morning in the common room, having donuts and vanilla pudding for breakfast. Not necessarily the healthiest of choices, but Kate cared not. She'd have like, an apple, later, okay? Jesus.
And of course, she had a big mug of coffee as she hogged a couch, leafing through an old issue of Cosmopolitan.
It was a good morning. Roommate and neighbour randomness aside, she'd actually had a good week or so.
... She'd start getting twitchy about it if things continued like this for too long. But not yet. Now it was just all good.
[ooc: Open! And my last day of Easter recess oh goodness WHY. *clings*]

So, it was his luck that he found Kate before he ended up at her room. So, he stopped in the door of the common room, one shoulder against the frame.
"You're quite easy to find this morning," he said by way of greeting.

Sure, she still had another pudding cup and a donut on the coffee table in front of her, but she wasn't about to share.

Mat got a little strange when his blood sugar was low.

...ignore the smile.

And now she was just going to actually pick the donut up, and take a bite, and smile smugly at him.
