Fourth Floor Common Room | Sunday Evening | 5/9/2010

Peter Bishop was not a fan of having his worldview rocked. He typically considered himself a very smart and rational human being.

Seemingly being dumped fifteen some years in the future was not a concept that gelled well with rational and scientific thought. It honestly made him feel like he was going crazy, no matter how much his conversation with Jacob had reassured him.

So Peter slunk into the couch, unable to concentrate enough to read. Instead, he flipped on the TV and proceeded to be horrified by the program that was on. Who thought it would be a good idea to film crazy new Jerseyians and put them on TV?

[ooc: Open common room is open!]

"Baking? Be glad you don't have to give me an 'F' for burning everything," Emma laughed. "I've got that science class on Monday, French and a class on breaking the glass ceiling on Tuesday, and then nothing until Friday, when I have First Aid with you."

"Ooooh, breaking the glass ceiling?" Sookie's brows shot up. "You're gonna rock in there. Who's teaching that one?"
icecoldfrost: (Emma is thinking)

"Kerrigan, supposedly," Emma replied, and she couldn't keep the hope from leaking into her voice. "I met her in that other-Fandom, but someone said she'd already been-and-gone from here."

The word 'evil' had also been used, but Emma still refused to believe that.

Sookie arched a brow. "I don't know anything about the other Fandom," she admitted. She'd been a vampire there, but she hadn't crossed over, so ignorance was bliss. "Is she like, really ferocious and scary? That's what I picture when gals talk about break the glass ceiling. You have to be kind of awesome and scary."

Which kind of described Emma, she thought.

"She's like us," Emma said. "A telepath. And she was incredibly awesome and ferocious."

"Another one?" Sookie grinned, and nodded towards Peter. "He's new, by the way. I freaked him out a little earlier and he wanted to play 'what's in my head?' Just so you know, 'case he does it to you, too."
icecoldfrost: (telepathic high)

"He's cute." Emma, don't eye the boy like a choice cut of meat, it's rude. "I replied to things he didn't say out loud, but I don't think he noticed."

"...should we see how long I can screw with him before he catches on?"

"Emma! That's not nice!" Sookie, don't be such a goody-goody. "Poor thing's already disoriented as heck."
icecoldfrost: (tear it all down)

"Sooooookie! Don't be such a goody-goody," Emma pouted.
