Wednesday After Period 3

Cassidy had really enjoyed her classes so far here at the school. However, there was still some tension in her and so she had to go to the one place that always drew her to it.

No matter where she was, a garden always made her feel so much better. That would be why, after changing her clothes and leaving a small container of cupcakes in their room for Hiccup, Cassidy was now on her knees in the dirt of the garden.

As she weeded and moved soil around, she could feel a lot of her worry and tension leaving her.

And yes, she had shielded her hands before starting her work.

"I'm taking the class, but I still plan to practice on my own," she said with a smile.

Rilla wrinkled up her nose. "But there are so many more interesting things to do."

Cassidy smiled. "Possibly, but I love cooking as much as I love working in the gardens, or reading."

"Or dancing, or talking to people, or going for walks, or going boating..." Rilla added dreamily.

"I've never gone boating," Cassidy confessed.

"I grew up by the sea," Rilla replied with a small smile.

"Ahh." Cassidy smiled. "I grew up near woods and farms."
