Fifth Floor Common Room - Friday Evening

Tim decided to put Claire's lesson to use and make himself some dinner. He found the pot she'd been using, boiled water and added the pasta. And then added some more because he was pretty hungry and it didn't look like it would be a lot of food. And a little more, in case someone else wanted some.

"Oh?" Scully debated, then said slowly, "I never have problems at that. If you'd like help sometime, I'd be willing to try." Fair was fair, and it'd make her feel better to pay the other girl back.

Asuna perked up then deflated. "I want to say 'yes' but you might get frustrated with me. I don't know why I'm so bad at those things."

Takahata-sensei and Negi were probably the only teachers that never gave up on her.

Scully gave her a look of surprise, then pointed out, "We can't know that until we attempt it. And I've -- tutored before." Taught. Much more difficult subjects. Changing tack, she said, "Please. It would let me feel useful here."

Scully relaxed a little more, and smiled. "Some time next week, then, in the library? We have so much time on our hands... although I believe we'll be in the cabins next week," she realized. "Someone mentioned that to me."

"Okay! Let's meet in the library!" Asuna paused then added, "It's not like an underground library island is it? Because I got lost in one of those once and it wasn't fun." Asuna looked surprised, "Really? I should pay more attention to announcements I guess."

"Really. I was relieved we didn't start the session in them, because I'm not exactly a nature fan. Easier to adjust, when we have time in our rooms here first." At least, she was pretty sure it was next week. "I might be wrong about the scheduling, though."
