Alex was continuing his whole plan of doing fuck all by sprawling himself on one of the common room couches and doing...fuck all. Well, he'd turned on the television (and stopped on some movie that looked mildly interesting) and he'd made himself some food (peanut butter and jelly sandwiches counted, right?) but, other than that, he was doing nothing.

To some, it might look like he was hungover but he was more...lazy. Just really damn lazy. Hungover would mean he was pissy and snappish. Luckily for everyone, he was still on a pretty even keel. Probably the fun he'd had last night. A good night with someone he liked was very helpful.

"Oh hey, I'm not the first one here," Kitty said, happily surprised. She'd yet to make it into a common room when everyone was around. It was kind of sad how much she'd been looking forward to doing so. "Hi."

"You're not," Alex said, glancing over at the new arrival. Unfamiliar face probably meant new student. Maybe his lazy could turn out fun if she was a gullible one. "Congratulations. First visit to the common room or something?"

"While there's been people in it. I think I must just like keep missing everybody," she said, shrugging. "Whatever, it just means I get to meet people now. I'm Kitty, I'm in 215."

"Kitty?" Alex repeated, just barely suppressing the urge to ask her if she did porn. Just barely. "Actual name or cute little nickname?"

"Short for Katherine," she said, sounding exactly like she'd gotten this before. "I'm going to have to like put up posters or something saying 'yes this is my name,' huh?"

Bobby had taken to wandering the dorms as a way of distracting himself from worrying. He briefly thought about going up to the sixth floor again, but decided against that when he happened across a common room with people in it.

"Alex, hey," he nodded in greeting before going over to the cupboards and rummaging around until he found an unopened bag of chips.

"What's up, Bobby?" Alex asked, not taking his eyes off the awful horror movie. "You as bored as I am?"

Bored was a good excuse, so, yeah, Bobby was gonna go with that. "Totally," he nodded. "Do you know how many times I've had the 'hi, my name is' conversation this week?" he rolled his eyes. Sure, he liked meeting new people, but repeating the same thing over and over got old quick.

"Getting a little sick of all the new blood?" he guessed, peering over the edge of the couch at Bobby. "And here I thought you were Mr. Friendly and Adorable."

"I am totally freaking friendly and adorable," Bobby asserted. "I just don't like having the same conversation fifty times. I'd rather skip that part, maybe hand out pamphlets on how freaking awesome I am..."

From the spot where Kitty had her popcorn for the movie, she waved and greeted him with, "Hi, AU Bobby!"

She'd adjusted, yes.

Bobby let out a snort of laughter at that. "That's a new one," he had to admit. "I'm not sure I can call you AU Kitty in return," he continued. "Since I have no idea if you even exist in my reality."

"I better exist in your reality!" she protested. "Or you guys are missing out." Yes they were.

The fact that the Kitty in Bobby's universe was currently thirteen would make things even more fun, really. "Well, if you do, we haven't met yet. Of course, I only met Kurt like, a few weeks before he showed up here..." he shrugged.

Medusalith wandered from her room to the common room. Not that she enjoyed being common, but she supposed she should make an effort to be social with her schoolmates. "Good afternoon," she said as she entered the room.

"Hey," Alex said, glancing over when he didn't recognize the voice. Nope, not someone he recognized but hot nonetheless. Maybe his eyes lingered longer than usual before flicking back to the television.

"Guessing you're new," he said idly. "Or I've missed you at all the bake sales!"

The six feet of hair were pretty noteworthy, yes, but, "I cannot bake. But yes, I am new. My name is Medusalith."

"...that's a lot of name," Alex said, halfway impressed. "Alex. And I can't cook for fuck either. Here, you don't need. Someone else'll do it for you and you can just mooch off them."

"You can call me Medusa," she offered. "Some people do. Other people do the cooking here?" Thank Agon.

"Yo, Medusa," Bobby waved. She could claim she was from Germany all she wanted, he totally had her figured out.

Yo? "Yo," Medusa said tentatively, "Bobby."

Of course she was from Germany! How dare he doubt her??

Okay, his lips twitched up in the tiniest hint of a smile at that. "How's Earth Fandom treating you so far?"

"You again," Kitty greeted her cheerfully, and held up the bowl in her hand. "Popcorn?"

"Me again?" Medusalith said, confused. "We live in the same room." She eyed the 'popcorn' curiously. "What is it?"

"Popcorn. It's a snack," she said, looking confused. "No popcorn in Germany?" Germany, of course.
