Alex was continuing his whole plan of doing fuck all by sprawling himself on one of the common room couches and doing...fuck all. Well, he'd turned on the television (and stopped on some movie that looked mildly interesting) and he'd made himself some food (peanut butter and jelly sandwiches counted, right?) but, other than that, he was doing nothing.

To some, it might look like he was hungover but he was more...lazy. Just really damn lazy. Hungover would mean he was pissy and snappish. Luckily for everyone, he was still on a pretty even keel. Probably the fun he'd had last night. A good night with someone he liked was very helpful.

"Nope, not this time," he said and shrugged. "I woke up a girl a couple months back. Boobs and all. They were kinda fun."

"What, you don't think you'd be curious?" Alex quipped. "And if you say no, I'm gonna think you're lying."

Everyone got curious.

"I'm grossed out," she said.

"Why? It's just guy anatomy and it does go away," Alex told her. "Think of it as an up close science lesson."

"It's not the kind of anatomy lesson I want. I'm a girl. I think my girl parts should stay like... attached." So much ew.

"Unfortunately, this island doesn't give you much of a choice," Alex said, shrugging. "If it's not unexpected boyparts, it's kids claiming to be yours showing up out of nowhere."

And to think, Kitty was one of the mutants that didn't have that problem canonically. "Like just random kids showing up? Why?"

"They're not random, they're someone's kids but yeah, they just show up," Alex said. "And to keep everyone from having sex, I guess."

That was not a problem for her! "This place is weird," she decided.

"Kill your expectations?" he guessed. "I think I'd rather it be weird than be dull and watching myself slowly die of boredom."

"The alternate universe people killed my expectations," Kitty told him. Though her expectations had been low and this place was way better than what she'd thought. "I would have been good with just chocolate rain."

"What about glitter rain?" Alex asked. "You a typical girly girl in that glitter makes you squeal?"
