The dorm freight elevator, Wednesday evening

Scully had been looking for a way to move trebuchet parts (or the whole trebuchet, once they started re-building it) up onto the roof if they needed to. And found a freight elevator that she hadn't realized was there in the dorms.

And now she was stuck in it. Yelling.

"HEY! ANYONE! CALL SECURITY! CALL THE JANITOR! GET ME OUT OF HERE!"

Lion-o frowned at the idea of a girl flying him anywhere. He had his pride.

"I can climb down there myself and find the trap door," he suggested instead. "Then you can fly down there and get her."

"FLYING? WAIT. WHAT?"

Scully was giving the ceiling a very dubious look now, thanks.

Oh, Blossom could read that pose of Lion-o's perfectly well.

"Why exactly should I have to wait up here?" She raised an eyebrow.

"Well, if you'd like, you can fly down there and open the trap door while I wait up here," said Lion-o.

"COULD SOMEONE JUST GET DOWN HERE ALREADY? SERIOUSLY!"

"We're coming, New Girl!"

Momoko crossed her arms. "So now you want me to do all the work? And what if I need help when I get down there? Flying both of us down will totally save time and who knows how long she's been in there already. New Girl could even be hurt or something!"

Lion-o sighed. "Fine. You can fly us both down there so I can get the trapdoor open. Then you can fly all of us back up. Does that work?"

"MY NAME'S SCULLY. DANA SCULLY. AND I'M IN FAVOR OF ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS SOON."

"Sounds perfect!" Blossom beamed a smile at him and reached for Lion-o's arm. "Just hang on, okay. It'll probably feel a bit like you're falling, but not really?"

She stepped into the elevator shaft, tugging on his arm as she hovered in the air. "Come on!"

Lion-o didn't look too confident, but he held onto her arm. "I can't believe you never told me about this," he said, trying to distract himself from the falling sensation.

"Eh? I didn't? I'm sorry! I totally thought you knew I had powers! I didn't mean to keep it from you."

Blossom dropped them to the roof of the elevator quickly, but not too fast. "See? Not so bad! Now you said there's a hatch? New Girl, we're here!"

"SCULLY!" Scully reminded her, then moderated her voice now that they were so close. "And terrific. That's great. Really. I'm very relieved."

Or she would be, once she got out of here.

"We'll get you out of here soon, Scully," Lion-o called out as he located the trap door. It didn't take very long before he had it open.

Momoko peaked through the hatch and into the elevator with a cheerful grin and a wave. "Hi Scully! I'm Momoko and this is Lion-o! Need a lift?"

Scully waved back, shaking her head in amusement. "Like you wouldn't imagine. Do you have rope, or something...?" Because they hadn't been serious about the flying thing. Right?

"I can pull you up," offered Lion-o, reaching down into the elevator. Luckily, he had long arms, though his nails/claws probably looked a little unusual to a human.

"Oh... kay," Scully said, reminding herself that beggars couldn't be choosers, and he'd been kind enough to help, and she really wanted out of here. She grabbed his arm and said, "Ready when you guys are."

Blossom watched closely as Lion-o pulled New Girl... Scully through the hatch. "Right! Welcome to the outside, Scully!" She grinned and held out a hand for each of them. "Ready to fly out of here? Take my hand!"

Scully stared at both of them, and had to ask, "Do I have another choice?"

Lion-o grabbed Blossom's arm and held on. "Nice to finally meet you, Scully. I'm Lion-o. Ready to get out of here?" he said to the new girl with a smile.

"Well, you could try to climb the cables, but they look totally nasty and I don't know how good you are at rope climbing?" Blossom raised an eyebrow at Scully. "If you're afraid of flying, you can close your eyes? It's totally safe; I've been doing this for five years, now."

What the hell. Scully wanted out of there too badly to really examine the physics right now, but she was going to have some major questions later. "I'm not of afraid of flying. I'm afraid of the squish if we quit flying. But for only ten or fifteen feet up from here, I'll risk it." She took a breath and reached for Blossom's arm. "Fly when ready."

"Until I transform back, we won't quit falling. Don't worry!" Blossom rolled her eyes and laughed as she kicked her shoes and lifted up and back through the doors. She set them down, but continued to hover herself, grinning. "See?"

"Wonderful. And kind of amazing. And thank you, thank you-- and excuse me, Ihavetogototherestroom," Scully said in a rush of breath, smiling fast and tight, then turning to jog off. "Back in a minute!"

"See?" Blossom laughed. "I said it was probably an emergency!"
