Spree Campfire [Wednesday Morning]

There was no real reason for Bobby to be eating his breakfast out by the campfire today, considering breakfast consisted of a bowl of chocolate Lucky Charms and a glass of Coke.

The fire definitely wasn't going, not this early in the morning anyway. But in case anyone else felt like partaking of his entirely healthful breakfast choices, he'd left the box of cereal out. There were also some more cans of the soda and, all right, fine, a carton of orange juice for those who wanted to pretend they could have a balanced breakfast that also included chocolate and marshmallows.

Sookie, who had taken her own coffee outside, wandered over from Laffy Taffy.

"I'm impressed with your attention to nutrition," Sookie noted, tilting her head at him.

Ben didn't have classes on Wednesday, but he was up early anyway for his usual workout.

"Hey, Bobby," he said, smiling as he wandered past. "What are you eating?"

"Chocolate Lucky Charms," Bobby said, with the grin of the sugar-energized. "Because I guess the cereal with marshmallows in it wasn't sugary enough, so they added chocolate." Not that Bobby was complaining, oh no.

"Yes, but I have it," Bobby insisted. "So I'm paying attention to nutrition. Just not mine." Bobby's logic was... special, sometimes.

By all rights, Karla should have been avoiding fires today, claiming PTSD or something. But the lure of chocolate and marshmallows was far too strong to deny. And it wasn't like this one was lit! She had plenty of time to run away in terror if someone talked about actually starting the campfire--though why anyone would want to in this heat was beyond her.

Besides, Bobby was offering food that was no more complex than pouring milk over cereal. That was just about Karla's speed right now. She'd learned something of a lesson over the weekend.

"Kiss kiss," she said, waving at the campfire. Oh! Some of her favorite people!

"I'm a Healer and I approve of this breakfast," Karla said, grinning at Sookie over her own glass of juice.

You had to drink the orange juice first. Otherwise, it made the cereal taste weird.

"I need you to do some intel," Sookie said, nodding seriously. "It's a very delicate mission. One of our friends needs to find something out about one of our other friends, and I told her I'd get you to find out. Even if I have to bribe you." She tried to keep her face straight, but she was clearly having some trouble. "Do you think you can handle it?"

"Well, if you insist..." Karla said, happily taking him up on his invitation of food and seating. "Does this count as real food?"

Even if it didn't, she'd be happy to eat it anyway. She just thought she should check. "Mmm, chocolate."
