Spree Campfire [Wednesday Morning]

There was no real reason for Bobby to be eating his breakfast out by the campfire today, considering breakfast consisted of a bowl of chocolate Lucky Charms and a glass of Coke.

The fire definitely wasn't going, not this early in the morning anyway. But in case anyone else felt like partaking of his entirely healthful breakfast choices, he'd left the box of cereal out. There were also some more cans of the soda and, all right, fine, a carton of orange juice for those who wanted to pretend they could have a balanced breakfast that also included chocolate and marshmallows.

"Morning, Karla," Bobby waved. "Come, sit down, have breakfast."

"Well, if you insist..." Karla said, happily taking him up on his invitation of food and seating. "Does this count as real food?"

Even if it didn't, she'd be happy to eat it anyway. She just thought she should check. "Mmm, chocolate."

"Milk is good for you," Bobby reasoned. "And I think the cereal bits are whole grain?" And infused with chocolate. But details.

"Good enough for me," Karla declared, helping herself to a bowl. "I'm going to have to figure out a way to import breakfast cereals to Glacia when I graduate. A future without sugar cereals to look forward to? Say it isn't so."

Bobby gave an exaggerated shudder at that. "A truly horrible fate. I wouldn't even want to contemplate it."

"Which means I can talk you into my Lucky Charms smuggling ring, right?" Karla asked. "You'd be doing my country a service, Mr. Drake. A delicious, sugary service."

"I could hardly live with myself if I didn't, Karla," Bobby replied solemnly. "I am at your service for all your cereal-smuggling needs."

"You're a true friend, Bobby Drake," Karla said, pretending to wipe away a tear. "Generations of little Glacian children will thank you."

"Oooh, will there be a statue in my honor?" Bobby grinned. "I think I'd look great as a statue."

"A statue and a mention in all the history books," Karla promised. "Possibly even a holiday."

"Excellent," Bobby saluted her. "I will, of course, have to make appearances on said holiday. It'd only be right."

"We'd throw you a parade and everything," Karla said, chuckling. "Maybe Bobby Drake Day would be the beginning of our winter sports games or something."
