After a long day out fighting creepy zombie piranha fish, Karla had fought her way ~~to the castle, beyond the goblin city~~ to Pizza Planet, in the vague hopes that perhaps someone had decided to go in early and gotten stuck. Or something.

Much to Karla's surprise, Pizza Planet was actually open and mostly staffed. The denizens of Fandom were even more jaded by the invasions than the students, and apparently decided a paycheck was more important than the piranhas.

They hadn't been particularly happy to see her. Probably because it had been a very light day for them, work-wise.

But she'd shown up and hadn't moved until they completed her order and now Karla had a giant stack of pizzas to feed people along with a few two litres of soda and a giant salad. After a long day of fighting (or even not), she figured that fresh, hot food that didn't come from a microwave would be appreciated.

She was still debating turning on cheesy horror movies like she'd talked about with Ben, though. That might be a bit much after today.

Sookie was quiet for a moment, her lips moving as she clearly counted on her fingers, before offering, "Karla is the best/Because she feeds me pizza/I am hungry now."

That's right. Haiku.

"Not bad, not bad," Bobby said thoughtfully. Not as good as the poem Gabrielle had written for him, of course, but that went without saying.

"Only 'not bad'?" Sookie asked, going to sit beside him. "See if I write you any poems."

"Well if they were about me of course they would be better," Bobby boasted. "I make an excellent subject for poems."

"Roses are red, my kitty is gray, my boyfriend's a dork, but I like him anyway," Sookie attempted after a moment to ponder it.

"Definitely a step up," Bobby smirked at her. "Of course, it needs about eighteen more verses 'till it can compete with the one I got for my fifteenth birthday..."

"I didn't know you then, so I shouldn't have to live up to that," Sookie declared completely arbitrarily.

"Says who?"

"The Poetry Rules Committee," Sookie replied easily.

"I think you just made that up," Bobby crossed his arms over his chest and frowned at Sookie.

"Would I lie to you?" Sookie asked, eyes wide and sad. "You wound me."

"About this? Yes, yes you would," Bobby stuck his tongue out at her. Maturely.

Sookie tried her best to look even sadder. "No more poetry for you. Or pie. Or kissing. Committee rules."

Again, totally arbitrary.

"I think this committee sucks," Bobby declared. "And besides, no more kissing for me means no more kissing for you by extension. So there."

"I bet Karla'd make out with me," Sookie decided.

Karla, who had heard this from across the room, knew to seize an opportunity when she heard one. "Damn right I would!" she called over from her chair.

"Yeah, well, whatever," and now that pout wasn't entirely feigned. "Bet I could find someone willing to make out with me too."

Sookie smiled softly, leaning over to kiss his cheek. "But I might have to override the committee, 'cause pretty as Karla is, I'd rather we didn't make out with other people."

"I wasn't really worried," Bobby said, putting an arm around her shoulder. Except there was a part of him that was. Hello, insecurity issues.

"I totally believe you," Sookie decided, tucking herself against his side. "Did you go outside to fight fishies today?"

Bobby considered how to answer that, before settling on a nice vague "Yeah," and a nod towards the water bottle he'd brought with him to the common room. "You?" he asked, absently playing with a lock of her hair.

"Uh huh," she said, reaching for his free hand to trail her fingers along his wrist. "They didn't give you any trouble, did they? You aren't hurt?"

"Nah, I'm good," Bobby smirked. "They didn't get too close to me." Somewhere in Fandom, a pile of frozen fish was just beginning to thaw out. "Just a little dehydrated, really."

"Good. None of 'em got me, either, but I'm tiiiired," she sighed, leaning a little against him. "It was good training though! Since I probably should practice more with my hand...stuff than I do.
