"There were wolf hairs found on the body, and so the official police report claims it was a wolf attack, but this wound... it seems far too large to have been caused by a wolf's jaws, and besides that, such attacks were rare enough in urban areas in my time, how on Earth would a wolf pass unnoticed in downtown Baltimore?" he paused. "There was one witness, who claims they saw a, a, werewolf, fleeing the scene." From his tone, it was evident that he didn't put much stock in that particular theory either. Which left him with... a lot of very puzzling questions.
