Third Floor Common Room, Monday Morning

Kate had not been pleased to find herself still a dude when she'd woken up today. It wasn't that she had a huge problem with it as such herself, it was just that she was kind of worried for the sanity of a certain someone else.

But there was nothing she could really do about it, so she'd just wandered down into the common room and decided it was a day for baking. Everyone would appreciate chocolate chip muffins, right?

(Kate, by the by, was not mature enough to not laugh at the fact that they had nuts in them.)

A couple of batches of muffins baked and set on the counter to be taken, she flopped down onto one of the couches and started leafing through an issue of Cosmo. Trying to see if she could get a male perspective on it today.

[ooc: Yes, you guessed it, it's an open common room!]

"Okay, so the island also has good ideas. Did the entire island moved on the water...or it teleported?" A giant island-shaped boat was a little hard to imagine.

"Oh no," she said, laughing a little. "It moved across the water. It tended to happen overnight, though, so who knows how fast we were going exactly."

Though, from some of the distances, their island could haul ass when it wanted to.

That was probably a hint of consideration from the island, as it would have surely freaked more than one if it suddenly started to sail through the seas in the middle of the day; unconsidered enough to turn girls into guys and vice verse, but not to get people seasick. Figures.

"Maybe it will do it again sometime?" He surely wanted to be there for that.

"Perhaps," she said, smiling slightly. "Th-Though it is unlikely I will be around to see that. It's my last year here."

And where had the time gone?

That actually took him by surprise. While he had only thought of leaving for the first week, the idea of leaving leaving had somehow got lost in the process of getting used to Fandom. "So...how long have you been here?" He supposed there was no point in saying something along the lines of 'Sorry to hear that', so he didn't, at least for the moment.

"Now?" Hinata smiled faintly as she took a moment to count the time. "Two and a half years, nearly."
