Fifth Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening

While Roy was aware that things were...weird today (and possibly for the last few days), he was also aware that he was hungry, dammit. So he was in the common room with way too much pizza. Also, no shirt. What? He was overly warm. He thought there might be something wrong with the heating system.

It wasn't Chloe's common room, but with the way she had been feeling all week, she figured maybe avoiding the people on her floor wold be a good thing.

She hadn't expected to run into a shirtless guy.

"Wow," she said appreciatively.

Then she blushed a bright red.

"Thank you," Roy said.

He worked hard to look this good, okay?

"You're welcome." She should have turned around and ran to her room right after that. But she didn't. She really had no one to blame but --- "You're very pretty."

She whimpered slightly, hiding her face. Sometimes she really hated Fandom.

"I wouldn't call myself 'pretty,'" Roy said thoughtfully. "Handsome, maybe. But, hey, you're very pretty!" Thing was, he might still have said this if he could not tell the truth.

Quinn had just wanted to say hello and get something to eat. Honestly.

Except, somehow, her casual greeting turned into "Oh my god, how much do you work out?"

Followed by a cough as she pretended she'd meant to say that.

"A lot," Roy said. "It takes a lot of muscle to pull my bow." That...wasn't meant to be dirty, and yet.


Quinn was looking good today, he noted, but somehow it managed to not come popping out of his mouth.

Quinn looked confused as she perched on a chair, trying to figure out what Roy meant that wasn't dirty.

Somehow, it was much easier to think of the dirty meanings.

"Archery," she finally remembered. "I never knew that was such a big athletic thing. I learned something today."

"Yeah, well, it depends on what pull weight your bow has." Again, not dirty. "The heavier the pull weight, the greater the power, unless you use a compound bow, but my...I guess you'd say, former guardian, he doesn't think those are 'real' bows. I've been thinking of switching to one just to spite him, and wow, that was too much information, huh? Let's try, 'hi.'" Roy was going to facepalm a little now.

Why Leia was up on the fifth floor wasn't important. Well, it was because she was restless and thought getting some air on the roof might help her focus. But the shirtless boy in the common room definitely got her attention. "Well, hello there," she said.

"Hello," Roy said. "Would you like some pizza?" Two sentences without oversharing. That might be a new record for the day.

"Only if I can eat it off your abs," Leia grinned. The island was making her skip flirting and go straight for blatant ogling.

"I like a girl who's forward and knows what she wants, and I haven't gotten laid since I came to this damn island, but I'm not into foodplay like that, sorry," Roy said.

This honesty thing was killer.

"Lost your voice?" Leia said, managing to tear her eyes away from Roy long enough to give Dana a concerned look.

"Trying to avoid an insanely truthful over-share of information, making both of us uncomfortable or possibly self-conscious." Scully pinched the bridge of her nose. "And how was your day?"

Scully was looking for food. Pure and simple. She wasn't talking to anyone. NO. This day had already been---

"Well, you're looking even hotter than usual."

"Food. Food and I leave."

"Thank you," Roy said, and, "I know that I'm hot, and I appreciate it when people comment on it, oh, God, what."

Which had Scully laughing. More than a little hysterically.

"I don't know! This has been happening all day! Hot people everywhere who I mention it to!" She stopped to put her hands over her face and get her breath back. "Glad I could give you a good feeling... and oh god, that sounds dirtier than I meant it."

"I keep telling people about pulling my bow! My actual bow, but it comes out so wrong."

Claudia might've figured out by now that today was the sort of day one would be better off hiding in one's room -- but dammit, dorm rooms got to feeling kinda cramped and she was all weirdly giddy and hyper and --

Scully leaned into view and waved, and before she could stop it, commented on that. "I know. He has a bow."

Scully gave Roy a considering look. "We could ask him if he knows? But I am guessing know. He's a superhero's sidekick!"

Yes. Everyone was going to know this by tomorrow.
