Fifth Floor Common Room, Friday morning

Bruce arrived back in Fandom very early Friday morning after his time spent training with the boxer, Ted Grant. While Grant really did have a lot to teach, Bruce felt that his lifestyle outside the ring was a little too chaotic to maintain adequate instruction. So Bruce learned what he could, mapped out how to incorporate it into his training, and left.

And then as soon as he got back, he was assaulted with snow.

After going to his room and changing into something that wasn't soaking wet from Cara's attack, he stopped in the common room to make some hot cocoa. With marshmallows, yes. And if anyone said anything about it... well, he'd just bribe them with more cocoa. He made plenty.

ETA: I'm at my mom's for the holiday and can't connect my pc to the network for some reason. So I'm using my iPod to respond, and I may be a little slow because of that.]

He didn't, really, but he wasn't going to make her go out of her way for a gift. "That would be great," Bruce said, giving a smile. "A guy can never have enough ties."

If anything, she would get the 'tie' for him the 26th, or before New Year. That mansion needed some dusting anyway. "I can even get you a singing one! or one of those that are fireproof." Options, there were always many.

"Fireproof," Bruce said. "I really don't think I need more singing in my life." He knew a certain redhead who would disagree, but that was okay. She was wrong a lot.

Somehow she could see Bruce getting in fire...although she wasn't sure it was a good idea, all in all. "But singing, it heals the soul! Unless it's a reality show, then yeah, enough of that already."

"Not even an itty bitty cheery tune?" And now she was going to whistle an itty bitty cheery tune, Bruce, just like that. It might not be precisely cheery (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENyGj_NQKkU&feature=related) though. Her sense of humor was all kinds of special.
