Fifth Floor Common Room, Friday morning
Bruce arrived back in Fandom very early Friday morning after his time spent training with the boxer, Ted Grant. While Grant really did have a lot to teach, Bruce felt that his lifestyle outside the ring was a little too chaotic to maintain adequate instruction. So Bruce learned what he could, mapped out how to incorporate it into his training, and left.
And then as soon as he got back, he was assaulted with snow.
After going to his room and changing into something that wasn't soaking wet from Cara's attack, he stopped in the common room to make some hot cocoa. With marshmallows, yes. And if anyone said anything about it... well, he'd just bribe them with more cocoa. He made plenty.
[OOC: Merry Happy! Open CR for anyone who may happen to be around!
ETA: I'm at my mom's for the holiday and can't connect my pc to the network for some reason. So I'm using my iPod to respond, and I may be a little slow because of that.]

"I didn't expect you to be here for the holidays." Then she remembered that Bruce probably didn't have a family to celebrate back at Gotham neither, and she was really close from flailing. "I didn't even buy you a gift or anything!"

"I thought everyone had gone home," he said, subdued, as he walked in.

"Some of us loners have to stick together right? It would suck big time if only one stayed in the dorms over Christmas." And she was glad it was not the case.

She took a sip at the chocolate. "Damn, this is good. You should have some."

He didn't use a terribly joyful tone, but he meant most of what he said.

"Cocoa?" she said, thinking it seemed really tempting to have some.

She smiled pleasantly and looked over at Bod. "It's been too long, Bod. It's good to see you."
