Fifth Floor Common Room, Friday morning

Bruce arrived back in Fandom very early Friday morning after his time spent training with the boxer, Ted Grant. While Grant really did have a lot to teach, Bruce felt that his lifestyle outside the ring was a little too chaotic to maintain adequate instruction. So Bruce learned what he could, mapped out how to incorporate it into his training, and left.

And then as soon as he got back, he was assaulted with snow.

After going to his room and changing into something that wasn't soaking wet from Cara's attack, he stopped in the common room to make some hot cocoa. With marshmallows, yes. And if anyone said anything about it... well, he'd just bribe them with more cocoa. He made plenty.

ETA: I'm at my mom's for the holiday and can't connect my pc to the network for some reason. So I'm using my iPod to respond, and I may be a little slow because of that.]

"Good, then there's no need to move up here. I'd hate to have to drag all the roommate's furniture anyhow," Nico replied, taking a seat. "Does that make you a big holiday guy?"

"Ha. No. I was ambushed with snowballs earlier, so I wanted to warm up. I figured I'd make enough for anyone else who might stop by," Bruce said.

"An ambush?" Nico looked a little surprised. "There a pack of thugs lying in wait at the doors?" Really he should try going outside through normal means more often.

"Close enough," Bruce said. "They might be gone now, though."

"Oh." Nico took a moment to pour himself some chocolate. It was the goal, after all. "So how'd you get away? Just run or what?" Yes, he was really that nosy.

"I fought back. I think it would be called a draw before I left," Bruce said partially because it's being SPed.

"Nice," he nodded, taking a sip, pleased by the flavor. "This is good. Do you cook, too?"

"No. I leave that to people who know what they're doing," Bruce said. "But it's hard to really mess up cocoa, so I was able to manage it."

"Guess I can't complain too much, you started me off with the cocoa. I'm sure if I wander enough I can find someone making eggs or sausage around here." Dorms and all. "Assuming there's enough people left hanging around."

"If not, I think there are places in town that are still open. That might be too much work, though," Bruce mused.

"If I get desperate later, there's always the mainland. Oh wait, or does the holiday affect that stuff?"

"You should be able to find a few open places," Bruce said. "But most of them will be closed, yes."
