Second Floor Common Room, Thursday Evening

Ramona was just innocently channel-surfing. Seriously. But then she came across what was either the worst movie she'd ever seen, or a work of genius.

She was leaning towards the former.

In any case, it seemed to be a movie about Lucas Lee, who was dying, and the young woman who was in love with him. She thought, anyway. That was what she was getting from the very deep plot, and the scintillating dialogue.

She made herself some popcorn, because really, she needed something to take her mind off the sheer awfulness, and sat down to incredulously watch this...really kind of terrible movie.

[God, I love the Lucas Lee fake movies. <333 Also, trufax, I IM'd [livejournal.com profile] nosefullofsnot to check on this and actually thought the title was Kiss Me, I'm Dying. That's how brilliant this is. Anyway -- open as common rooms are! Oh, and despite icons, her hair is still pink.]

"Not much for academics, I'm guessing?" Bruce asked.

"The classes here can be interesting," Bruce said. "But it's really not a typical high school. That's the only real reason I can stand it."

Granted, he was way on the other end of the motivation spectrum, but it still applied.

"I thought about taking that class," Bruce said. "But then I figured I'm pretty good at avoiding them anyway. So I'd rather take a class like pacifism where I get to just relax for an hour."

"We sit in a circle, drink cocoa, and have a casual conversation the week's topic," Bruce said. "It's actually nicer than I would have thought. I wouldn't be surprised if the teacher was drunk during class, though."

"Are you sure naptime wasn't your teacher's chance to sleep off a hangover?" Bruce asked. It would have been good planning. He had to appreciate the hypothetical situation on that level.
