The Roof, Thursday Night

Sure, it was cold out. And sure, it was dark. And kinda uncomfortable come to think of it.

Tony frowned at his seat on the edge of the roof, already starting to think of a way to make the roof heated. Because that wasn't going to be a bad idea that would end with whatever he created gaining sentience and trying to kill him.

Really.

But, for now, it was sulky emo thoughtful brooding. Take that Bruce Wayne.

"The last time I went looking for a roof I wound up on one with three other people already there," Roy admitted.

"I think we all need to learn look before we climb onto roofs," Bruce said.

"Do I want to know how rooftop meetings lead to broken brains?" Bruce asked. "Because that hasn't happened to me yet."

"I...ran into someone I really wasn't expecting to, like. Exist," Roy explained.

"You paint a very vivid word picture," Bruce joked. "Did they fight you, or was it something else?"

"No," Roy said. "No, but congratulations, you found a way it could even have been weirder."

"I pride myself on being able to spot the worst case scenarios," Bruce said.

It was probably a joke, right?
