3rd Floor Common Room, Thursday Evening

It was definitely going to be one of those evenings. One of those weird ones. The sort that reminded unsuspecting passers-by that, in no uncertain terms, they were living on Fandom Island.

How did it manage such a thing?

Well, that there were two boys in the common room, exchanging gossip, probably wasn't all that new. That they were in their underwear, on the other hand, was probably an indication that things were a little off. One of the boys, the one who was wearing the world's most boring grey boxer shorts, was at least still wrapped in black leather from his nose down to his navel. The other, in white briefs, had his large white wings folded behind him.

Both of them were quite comfortable on the floor, surrounded by cushions from the couch, sparkly make-up, and girly teen magazines. Warren was painting his fingernails in a vivid shade of sparkly blue. Jono was hugging a pillow to his chest, reaching over occasionally to pet a bewildered kitten with a big pink bow around her neck, while reading off the questions to an 'Is He Really Into You' quiz to Warren.

By the end of the quiz, it became apparent that whoever 'he' was, they simply weren't as into Warren as he might have hoped, and with an indignant squeal of "Omigod! Not fair," the winged one capped his nail polish, reached for his pillow, bounced to his feet, and let Jonothon have it.

Oh, it was on.

[I totally blame glacial_witch and trigons_child for this one. The common room is open, for anyone who wants to either rescue the boys from this indignity, pull out a video camera, or join in the pillow fight!]

"It's like art," Karla said, for once not talking about all the bare chest Warren was displaying. "I'm looking forward to asking Warren how long he's liked males for, just as soon as he's back to himself."

"I want him to give me a manicure next," Sookie observed. "He's got a steady hand, that boy."

"I'm going to start insisting he paint my nails from now on," Karla decided, watching the scene unfold with joy. "He has so much experience at it now. Though I am a little sad Bobby's not over there, prancing with them."

"Oh, damn it, now I'm wishing that, too," Sookie pouted. "I'm sure he'd also be very interested in talking about boys."

"And figuring out which shade of eyeshadow made his eyes pop," Karla sighed. "Do you think we can maybe send a gremlin after him?"

Best. Girlfriends. Ever.

"It might not have the same effect," Sookie noted sadly. "I mean, what if it just makes him think he's Arnold Schwarzenegger or something?"

"Who?" Karla asked.

"...Bobby might think he's a governor?"

"Before he was governor, honey, Arnold was this very impressive bodybuilder-turned-actor with this outrageous Austrian accent," Sookie said, shaking her head. "We need to have you watch more movies. Anyway, nothing guarantees that gremlin-struck Bobby would want to giggle over Justin Bieber with these girls, is what I'm saying."

"We keep attacking him with gremlins until that one sticks?" Karla suggested.

"I'd really have to make it up to him if we did that," Sookie mused. "Which isn't to say no, just that I'd have to get creative."

"Have you done the slipping images into his mind thing we'd talked about?" Karla teased. "That might be a good way to start."

"In Hawaii," Sookie replied with a blush. "That's why he was chasing me up the beach that day. Also, when I locked him out of the room. He has a very love/hate relationship with that particular trick."
