3rd Floor Common Room, Thursday Evening

It was definitely going to be one of those evenings. One of those weird ones. The sort that reminded unsuspecting passers-by that, in no uncertain terms, they were living on Fandom Island.

How did it manage such a thing?

Well, that there were two boys in the common room, exchanging gossip, probably wasn't all that new. That they were in their underwear, on the other hand, was probably an indication that things were a little off. One of the boys, the one who was wearing the world's most boring grey boxer shorts, was at least still wrapped in black leather from his nose down to his navel. The other, in white briefs, had his large white wings folded behind him.

Both of them were quite comfortable on the floor, surrounded by cushions from the couch, sparkly make-up, and girly teen magazines. Warren was painting his fingernails in a vivid shade of sparkly blue. Jono was hugging a pillow to his chest, reaching over occasionally to pet a bewildered kitten with a big pink bow around her neck, while reading off the questions to an 'Is He Really Into You' quiz to Warren.

By the end of the quiz, it became apparent that whoever 'he' was, they simply weren't as into Warren as he might have hoped, and with an indignant squeal of "Omigod! Not fair," the winged one capped his nail polish, reached for his pillow, bounced to his feet, and let Jonothon have it.

Oh, it was on.

[I totally blame glacial_witch and trigons_child for this one. The common room is open, for anyone who wants to either rescue the boys from this indignity, pull out a video camera, or join in the pillow fight!]

"You should use more than one pen," Sookie recommended. "Show your creativity. Dot your I's with rainbow hearts, that kind of thing."

Heaven help him, Jono actually took that moment to look thoughtful.

If they sparkled enough, maybe they'd totally match the vaaaampire! Oh, dreamy!

//That sounds like... like... So much fun!//

He got to play with colours, too? Like, wow!

"He'll be so impressed. I bet we can track down some glitter to include, too." Sookie bounced, clapping her hands together. "And of course you should seal it with a kiss!"

When the gremlin venom wore off, Jono was going to give Sookie cranky pouty eyes for that one. A suggestion like that couldn't possibly end well.

//Ooh, do you think we'll write back? That would be so dreamy!//

Of course, if he just went and swooned a bit here, that would look completely normal, right?

Well, he could draw one on! Sookie was, perhaps, getting carried away with her own hilarity.

"Um, of course he will," she assured him, hiding a smile. "You're a catch, darling."

Awww, and now Jono was kind of patting at his hair and looking down at his nonexistent boobs.

He kind of thought he was maybe a little flat...

"Of course, honey," Sookie assured him, tsking. "We'll make you up all kinds of pretty and send a picture along with that letter, okay?"

Oh, Sookie, you just totally made Jonothon's day. He liked pretty things!

Pretty things, like the Lisa Frank notepad that Warren was running back with. Awww, rainbow kittens!

"Okay, I have everything," Warren announced, proudly.

[Curse the future! It's bedtime- Is SP okay?]

"Even the rainbow glitter pens?" Sookie checked. "They're important!"

[SP is made of gingerbread and rainbows!]

//They're the most important,// Jono agreed, stressing about his glitter pens maybe a bit too much. //You did get them, right?//

"Relax," Warren replied, rolling his eyes and making a point to look about as put-upon as possible. He lived a rough life, here! "I brought the whole pencil case, duh."
