Rilla had not turned the television on when she'd come into the common room. She was far too engrossed in the magazine she'd just discovered.

Look out, world. Rilla Blythe had discovered Cosmo quizzes.

If only she understood half of the things the questions were asking about!

"I apologize for interrupting your reading," he said, gesturing to the magazine as he passed by to get something to drink. "I hope I didn't make you lose your place or lose your train of thought."

"Oh, it's nothing for class," she said. "The magazines in my time don't have quizzes."

"Quizzes?" he asked, snagging a bottle of water before returning to take a seat. "Like...academic quizzes?"

"I'm currently taking one that will tell me if I'm an oversharer," Rilla told him earnestly.

"An oversharer?" Bod asked, raising an eyebrow because that wasn't like any quiz he'd heard of before. "And are you an oversharer or are you an undersharer?"

"I don't know," Rilla admitted. "I'm stuck on the first question. What's a Twitter? Or a Diddy?"

"Um."

Well, that may have answered her question since Bod didn't have a clue either.

"Could they be animals of some sort?" he suggested. "Birds? They sound like they might be some sort of tropical bird, if I were to make an educated guess."

An educated wrong guess.

"Very well," Rilla said, then cleared her throat and read, "When it comes to Twitter your mantra is A)What goes on Twitter stays on Twitter--updates should be G-rated, B)Tweeting? No thanks, that's what a diary is for or C)Don't tweet anything Diddy wouldn't tweet. Perhaps Diddy is a kind of loud bird?"

"Tweet is the sound some birds make, isn't it?" Bod asked, furrowing his brow at this extraordinarily difficult (or not) quiz question. "Maybe they want you to whistle since it's a quiz in a human magazine?"

"I think I'll pick C," Rilla decided, marking it. "On a typical day, how often do you touch base with your guy?" She frowned. "I'm supposed to contact William daily?"

"Isn't that a bit much?" Bod wondered, rubbing his chin. "Even when Kate and I were still dating, I sometimes went a few days without seeing her."

"We talk once a fortnight," said the go who used "fortnight". "I don't wish to seem forward."

"I don't think there's anything wrong with that," Bod assured her, smiling. "There's not a lot of need to touch base, so to speak, when you both live in the same place. I'd worry about being a bother."

"Our choices are just once, flirty texts to set him afire, and then a string of words I don't understand," Rilla offered.

"Well, you could lie and say once?" Bod suggested, frowning. "The magazine won't know you're not being entirely truthful and one does sound close to your true answer."

"I don't want William to be on fire anyway," Rilla declared, marking A.

She might have missed the point of that question by a lot.

"I haven't met William and I still don't want him to be on fire," Bod agreed, wincing. "I don't think anyone deserves that. This quiz is rather violent."

"It is," Rilla agreed. "Next question. You run into your crush in an elevator. By the time you get to the bottom, what does he know about you? A) Your weekend plans, B) what you're wearing because you think he looked at you or C) all about the mole on your back. Ew. Not C."

"The first two sound rather normal," Bod said thoughtfully. "If you were an outgoing person, A would work. If you were quiet and shy but observant, perhaps B?"

"I like B," Rilla decided. "You are called into your boss's office and he asks you about two coworkers who you know have recently coupled up. You say:" she frowned. "'It's not your business' isn't on here."

"Why wouldn't the supervisor just talk to the couple in question?" Bod wondered. "Wouldn't that be the easier way to do things?"

"Much," Rilla declared, eyebrows furrowing. "I don't see why I would need to be involved at all."

"It does seem unnecessary," Bod said, nodding. "And that it would lead to rumor mongering which no one needs."

"Though I do rather love the radio broadcasts," Rilla admitted in a hushed tone.

"So do I," he agreed with a quiet laugh. "Those seem a bit different to me, though. No one's directly asking you what I did today. The squirrels are just observing and reporting and sometimes they get it wrong."
