Cheerleading Practice, The Gym, Wednesday after classes

Harper was doing a lot of thinking as she set up everything the squad needed for practice. Now that she'd taken the last of her final exams, she was officially done with high school. She thought that would be a happy moment. But in reality, she was sad to think that she'd have to leave soon.

But in her typical fashion, she was trying to compensate for how gloomy she was feeling by putting on energetic dance music and turning up the volume so it was really, REALLY LOUD. It was tough to be sad when you couldn't hear yourself think.

Rilla had been hiding in her room since the weekend, trying to live down the humiliation of having been six years old where people could see her.

But she was finally out of her room, where people could talk to her (though she kind of hoped they wouldn't), stretching her muscles out.

The music couldn't scare him off if he wore ear plugs, now could it? They were great for most situations involving women and music, after all.

The Dean took a seat with his clipboard and pretended to be official...and capable of hearing anything.

I just watched an interview where Jennifer Stone was almost in tears describing the end of "Wizards of Waverly Place." Now I'm feeling sad.
