Fourth Floor Common Room | Tuesday Evening

For once, Caroline actually had a project to do! She was kind of excited about the idea of making signs for the sibling she hadn't technically gotten yet, but felt certain she deserved, so of course she was going to get one, it was simply a matter of time. And so Caroline had gathered a ton of supplies from the shop in town, and okay, since there were vikings all around, there was a total Icelandic theme going on. Makers, glitter glue, and construction paper in colors she had deemed within the viking spirit were laid out all over the floor in the common room.

Sorry people who had hoped to walk by.

Caroline wasn't certain about her first attempt, but that was why she had more poster board, duh. She brushed a bit of glitter from her bare knees as she got to her feet, surveying the work she'd done so far. She took a few steps back to see if her sign was readable at a distance and nodded, pleased with her work. Now if only she had a name to add. Fill in the blank was kind of hard.

But then, maybe someone was taking the whole big sibling thing a little far.

[So totally open as CRs are!]

Bobby gave her a sidelong glance. "I don't think a boy is going to be looking at the sign...?"

"We're not moths!" Bobby protested. "Uh, I mean, not that glitter is light, but it's sort of the same thing."

Proving her point, Bobby's eyes dropped down to Caroline's...chests then looked away quickly as he realised she was wearing a lower cut shirt.

"Um. I mean, I don't think all boys are the same or anything so it's kind of hard to answer the question?"

"I'm sorry!" Bobby squeaked, blushing a bright red, thank you, Caroline. "I didn't mean to! You said - just - and I - Sorry?"

"Yeah, I don't think you're supposed to touch unless invited," Bobby said, still flushed and looking everywhere but at Caroline. "Um, I mean for everything, but...yeah. So, glitter?"

Okay, that made him look at her with a little confusion. "Why would you draw them on your poster? When - you already have them? I mean, you don't need glitter ones."

Bobby so wasn't talking to Caroline about flashing people. It was going to lead to bad things.

"It still would be weird to have, um, breasts on the poster. Maybe just - stick to the glitter? Cause it would be really embarrassing to explain what they were."

Bobby ducked his head, shooting a glance at her as he wondered why her poster would need hot chicks when the girl holding it was already one.

"You could draw little chickens?"

"Maybe there should be a whole class on how not to be lame!" Bobby said, thinking this sounded like a class he wanted to take. "And also why not to freak about about being in Iceland."

Bobby's shoulders dropped a little. He already knew that, but it wasn't any fun to hear it from someone again.

"I think my mom would make us go home too. But it's so cool! All the constellations are different, which, I mean, obviously, but I've never been so far away to see them actually change like that!"

"Well, yeah. There's not a lot that's interesting to see with the naked eye," Bobby said, like it was totally obvious. "and the telescope they have in the observatory is so great. I have one, but it's not nearly as powerful."
