Menudo Campfire, Sunday Evening

Right, so. Bobby was clearly making up for lost campfire time by following Alex's example from the other day and dragging just about every sort of camping-related food out to the campfire. He may be somewhat hopeless in the kitchen (well, even that wasn't entirely true- he could make a passable cupcake so long as no fish or other disgusting ingredients snuck in) but he could roast a mean marshmallow, damnit.

"Are you sharing?" Sookie asked, wandering over, taking a seat beside him and pressing a kiss to his cheek in greeting.

"You just curious in general or d'you want some?" Bobby asked with a grin.

"I was sort of hoping you'd share," Sookie said, grinning back. "Unless you're not just giving it away."

"Sookie!" Any lingering unease around Bobby did not extend to Bobby's girlfriend. "Kiss kiss! I'm sorry--I didn't get your text until today!"

She settled down next to her friend and gave her a tight hug, not mentioning how she'd been kind of avoiding her phone lately. And people. And leaving her dorm...

Look, last week had been a very long week, okay?

Sookie returned the hug, a little confused. "Sweetie, where've you been, then?"

"Oh, boy!" said Butters, following his gut and heading toward one of the other campfires that evening. He supposed he should get some rest since he had radio in the morning, but a few snacks wouldn't hurt, right? "Are those s'mores?"

"And hot dogs," Bobby confirmed. "Help yourself."

"Gee, thanks!" said Butters, wasting no time and hoping this wasn't a trap of some sort, but too pleased for s'mores to care. "I love s'mores. Gotta have s'mores while camping, right? It sure is nice of you to share 'em."

Karla didn't recognize the male, but his voice sounded awfully familiar. "...Butters?" she hazarded, reaching for a marshmallow of her own. "You do radio, right?"

"...wow, that is a lot of food," Tony informed him. Because he was a genius and knew these things.

Bobby glanced up at Tony. "You haven't gone blind since we last talked. That's good to know," he teased.

Freddie wasn't just wandering the campfires today, no. He had one of his cameras with him, so he could film different people just for fun.

Yes, this was the sort of thing Freddie did for fun.

"Wave to the camera, everybody!" he said, all chipper.

"I'm holding a marshmallow over a fire," Bobby pointed out. "Waving seems like a bad idea." Never mind that he could easily take care of any fire-related mishaps.

Karla waved and offered a "Kiss kiss" for good measure. Did she know this male? She didn't think so. Did she care? Not particularly.

"Why?" she asked after greeting the camera.

"Put that thing away!" Jack shouted. "I'm not standing in pudding again!"

Karla had wandered over to Menudo to see if Tony was about and bitch over the rudeness inherent in certain friends just taking off into space without so much as by your leave--which she certainly wouldn't have given--but she stopped abruptly when she saw Bobby standing in front of the fire.

"Kiss ki--uhh." Cue the stopping and sudden resumption of awkward. "Oh. Bobby. Hi."

Yeah, about the awkward.

And then it was Bobby's turn to be awkward as he struggled for something to say.

Tony waved from where he was, avoiding the food. Because someone was still weirded out by fat!Tony Stark.

"Hey." Yeah, you be manly after reading that book, Tony. You be manly.

Angelica wandered over from her cabin, drawn to the fire. "Hi, Bobby," she said, glad to see a familiar face. "How's it going?"

"Angelica, hey," Bobby gestured for her to take a seat. "Just making sure I'm getting the most of the whole camping experience."

Alex was almost certain someone had to be cooking something he could beg some of over a campfire somewhere around here, and followed his nose until he found it. When he saw Bobby, well, all the better. "Whatcha got?" he asked. "And can I have some, or is it, 'no, go back to your own campfire, loser,' over here?"

"Even if it was, well, one, you're my fake sibling, and two, you totally shared with me the other night, so," he gestured to the impressive pile of food, "help yourself."

"Man, you make it sound like the cabins are at war," Tony said, waving over at him.

Jack wandered out of the cabin. Still in his bathrobe. "Okay. I'll share my coco puffs for s'mores. Any takers?"
