Hanson Campfire, Friday Evening, iCarly Broadcast!

Fredward Benson had pulled out all his A/V equipment and set up near the campfire again, so that Sam and he could film ther parts of the weekly iCarly web show. Of course, this experience could never go entirely smoothly, and this week Freddie was having trouble with the feed from Seattle.

"Are you entirely certain you didn't press any buttons, Gibby?" he said to the video of the feed from Seattle.

"I don't know, I don't have cable," Gibby retorted on the other end.

"Well something has the video feed upside down," Freddie said.

[ooc: OCD coming up and running, Wanderers-by are more than welcome, though may at least be asked to participate in random dancing.]

Really, she should try doing more than occasional camera work when Freddie had to show off his flashlight costume before she made disparaging remarks about the tech assistants in Seattle.

"And you'd probably be worse at this than Gibby," Freddie said.

He paused.

"Gibby, the camera isn't upside-down, is it?"

Gibby had an equally long pause, and then the picture righted itself as the camera was turned right-side-up.

"Thank you, Gibby," Freddie said.

"Maybe we can tell people it's avant garde," Carly suggested.

"Either that or avant chiz," said Sam. She pulled out a package of fat cakes from . . . somewhere . . . and ripped it open, then stuffed one in her mouth. "And I'd totally be great with the camera. I'm just better in front of it."

"Well, lucky for you I know I'm better behind it so we don't have to resort to that," Freddie said. "I see that fake ham earlier today wasn't actually filling."

"Well, that's what you get for virtually showing off," Freddie said, having no reason to brag given his own pathetic display in class. "Just try not to eat during the show, okay?"

"I'm Carly," said Carly.

"Tell him you agree with me!" said Sam.

Carly blinked at the camera on her side and sighed, then burst into a grin. "And this is iCarly!"

Sam, thankfully, took the hint. "The only web show guaranteed not to give you rabies."

"So that's probably from the raccoon in your garage," said Carly.

"You should probably get rid of it," said Sam.

"Definitely. Yeah."

"Mmhm."

Of course, during this whole bit, Freddie didn't notice the little green scaly things huddling around his A/V cart.

And it wasn't until Carly gasped and shouted "We're being cart-napped!" that Freddie turned to see the gremlins making off with his equipment.

"Nooooo!" he shouted.

"I'm on it!" Sam rolled up her sleeves and charged after the gremlins.

Freddie set down his camera to chase after the gremlins. "Come back here!"

Of course, this just gave another gremlin the chance to grab Freddie's camera while he wasn't attending to it.

Sam returned a little while later, covered in bits of leaves and sticks, but sadly lacking in the tech cart.

"Those little nubbins are fast."

Freddie stumbled back as well, looking dejected and exhausted.

"They took the whole cart!" he said, flopping down near the campfire. "Who steals a cart?"

"What?!" he sat bolt upright and then flopped back again.

"Why do I have a feeling this isn't covered by my PearWarranty?"

Sam narrowed her eyes. No one made Freddie whine like that but her dammit.

"I'll get 'em back. I'll make those little lizards pay."
