Hanson Campfire, Friday Evening, iCarly Broadcast!

Fredward Benson had pulled out all his A/V equipment and set up near the campfire again, so that Sam and he could film ther parts of the weekly iCarly web show. Of course, this experience could never go entirely smoothly, and this week Freddie was having trouble with the feed from Seattle.

"Are you entirely certain you didn't press any buttons, Gibby?" he said to the video of the feed from Seattle.

"I don't know, I don't have cable," Gibby retorted on the other end.

"Well something has the video feed upside down," Freddie said.

[ooc: OCD ~~coming~~ up and running, Wanderers-by are more than welcome, though may at least be asked to participate in random dancing.]

Sorry, Sam. Freddie just went to a mental place that involves a goofy smile on his face.

You might want to rethink that 'not kicking him' plan.

Don't think that she wasn't.

"Hey. Stop perving on my best friend."

"...I wasn't," Freddie protested. "I wouldn't do that, either. That ship sailed a long time ago, thank you very much."

Uh huh. Sam totally bought that. "Right, so you weren't just totally picturing Carly shirtless."

"Well you said it! I'm a boy! What else am I supposed to do?" Freddie said, totally blowing any iota of innocence. "But you're right. I shouldn't. Carly and I are good friends and good friends don't do that."

"Plus, then I really will kick you."

"Mmmmph," Freddie said, all eloquent. "I don't waaaaanna be kicked."

All maturity, that Fredward Benson.

"Too bad." *Kick*

Admittedly, she didn't kick very hard this time. He was all pathetic-like, and chasing the gremlins had actually kinda worn her out.

Freddie could tell it wasn't the worst she could do, so he actually just took it like a man.

He just made a pathetic face. "You ever wonder how things would've been different if we'd not been sent to school here?" he said, slightly changing the topic.

"I dunno, sometimes. It'd probably just be like it always was." A pause. "Or I'd be in juvie."

"Okay, yeah," Freddie said. "But I just kind thought I'd... don't think too much on this or anything, but I mean while it's not perfect and I miss a ton of people and stuff... I kinda wanted to thank you for getting me sent here."

Awww, he was being nice.

Sam blinked. ". . . What, seriously?"

"Well it's like... this place is kind of amazing," Freddie said. "I mean, really amazing. And I'd never have come here if you hadn't been evil."

"I'm not evil," Sam protested. "I'm just . . . misunderstood."

She had to agree with the rest of what he said, though. This place was pretty damn cool.

"So how am I supposed to understand you getting me sent off to boarding school?" Freddie said, smiling. He was just amused by that.

"Apparently it's 'cause I'm a good friend."

Hey, she was surprised to hear it, too.

"Huh," Freddie said. "Guess you're right. Now if only we could think of a way to get Carly and Gibby out here, too. And Spencer, I guess, so we don't leave him alone to set Seattle on fire."

"Now that would be sweet. Who needs Seattle when you're on an island that travels through time and space?"

"We can start that nefarious plan right after we get all my equipment back," Freddie said. "Stupid gremlins."

He sighed again.

". . . I wonder if I could keep one as a pet."

Sam kind of missed Frothy.
