Rock Band Party, Tuesday Evening, First Floor Rec Room

Karla and Warren had celebrated their return to their proper forms in the way that many teenagers would find appropriate: they'd headed back to the modern mainland, found a toy store, and bought a gaming system (or three). Along with the games they bought to go along with said system, they also picked up a few guitars, a keyboard, a drum set, and two microphones.

Once back in the rec room, the rest of the afternoon had been spent setting up the systems and buying every single song available for the game. Waiting for them to finish downloading actually took longer than the initial setting up, even taking in Karla's attempts to 'help'.

But now the system was set up, the songs were ready, and the instruments prepared.

Fandom High? Get ready to rock.

Warren had never flipped a copy at Kinko's in his life.

"I'm riding on a dolphin, doing flips and shit," which actually sounded pretty awesome, "the dolphin's splashing, getting everybody all wet! But this ain't Seaworld, it's as real as it gets! I'm on a boat motherfucker, don't you ever forget!"

... Yeah. He was getting really into this, now.

For a rich kid, he sucked at this.

"I'm the king of the world, on a boat like Leo," Tony sang, arms spread. :If you're on the shore, then you're sure not me-oh."

Someday, they would look back on this song in horror. Possibly in sorrowful realization that this song had become their lives for real.

"I'm on the deck with my boys, motherfucker," Tony sang, gesturing toward Warren. "This boat engine make noise, motherfucker!"

"Hey, ma, if you could see me now! Arms spread wide on the starboard bow," and you better believe that his wings were spreading for that line, yes. "Gonna fly this boat to the moon somehow," he could afford it. "Like Kevin Garnett," who? "Anything is possible!"

Tony ducked his head, giggling snickering like a boss. "Yeah, never thought I'd be on a boat," he sang. "It's a big blue watery road--Okay, this is the best song ever."

"This song is insane," Warren decided, and then jumped in quickly with, "Poseidon, look at meeeeeee."

That would be Warren making a somewhat undignified squawking sound, and then breaking down into a fit of laughter, finishing it off with a somewhat weak attempt at the word, "Mermaid."
