Rock Band Party, Tuesday Evening, First Floor Rec Room

Karla and Warren had celebrated their return to their proper forms in the way that many teenagers would find appropriate: they'd headed back to the modern mainland, found a toy store, and bought a gaming system (or three). Along with the games they bought to go along with said system, they also picked up a few guitars, a keyboard, a drum set, and two microphones.

Once back in the rec room, the rest of the afternoon had been spent setting up the systems and buying every single song available for the game. Waiting for them to finish downloading actually took longer than the initial setting up, even taking in Karla's attempts to 'help'.

But now the system was set up, the songs were ready, and the instruments prepared.

Fandom High? Get ready to rock.

Bobby's fingers curled around hers, grasping her hand like a lifeline. "But it did!" he burst out. And that, right there, was the problem. The two Warrens were distinct, separate people, he knew that, but they'd both died (albeit temporarily) due to the actions of someone they'd trusted.

"It did," she said quietly, holding his hand tightly. "But you can't resent her for it forever. Not when Warren's forgiven her. You're on better terms with Eric, and he helped drain me and knew what Bill was up to. Karla acted on impulse, and she knew Warren would get better."

Hoped, anyway.

"I never considered Eric a friend," Bobby pointed out a little sullenly. "I still don't trust him either." To do anything beyond look out for his own interests, anyway.

"Flawed comparison, but my point stands even more," Sookie said quietly. "If she's your friend, mend the bridge. She wants to. I think she's a little intimidated by you, though."

Part of him felt a little bit of smug satisfaction at that particular revelation. It was a feeling he was going to keep a tight lid on, though, because he knew if Sookie caught that thought it would hurt her.

"I don't know where to start," he admitted.

"Play Rock Band with her," Sookie encouraged him, shrugging a shoulder. "No one's saying you have to have a big talk with her tonight. Just...try being her friend. Just try. For me and Warren, please?"

"I guess I could do that," Bobby admitted, glancing over towards Karla again. Maybe if they were focusing on the game, they wouldn't have to worry about the actual, you know, talking bit. That could be okay.
