Rock Band Party, Tuesday Evening, First Floor Rec Room

Karla and Warren had celebrated their return to their proper forms in the way that many teenagers would find appropriate: they'd headed back to the modern mainland, found a toy store, and bought a gaming system (or three). Along with the games they bought to go along with said system, they also picked up a few guitars, a keyboard, a drum set, and two microphones.

Once back in the rec room, the rest of the afternoon had been spent setting up the systems and buying every single song available for the game. Waiting for them to finish downloading actually took longer than the initial setting up, even taking in Karla's attempts to 'help'.

But now the system was set up, the songs were ready, and the instruments prepared.

Fandom High? Get ready to rock.

Asuna laughed at the enthusiastic welcome, "It's good to see you too! How're you?"

"Uhh, right now? Busy!" Karla said, glancing around the rec room. "Warren and I decided to play around a bit and apparently every one else decided that was a great idea."

Not that Karla could blame them. It kind of had been.

"How about you?" she asked, rather than try to fill Asuna on some of the less-fun craziness that had happened. "Where'd you go?"

"Ooh it looks fun!" Asuna shrugged. "I was at home in Mahora for a while, some crazy things happened in school then... um somehow the headmaster decided I return to Fandomhigh."

"Surpise!" Karla said wryly. "Though I'm glad you're back. Darkness, I don't think I've seen you...was it the time we rescued everyone's pets?"

[Off to bed now for me. SP okay?]

Asuna frowned, thinking."I think it was a little after that... when we discovered I can cancel out magic."

"Right!" Karla said, snapping her fingers. "I couldn't remember if that had happened before the pet rescue or after. But it was after, wasn't it?"

There had been a lot of unexpected tumbling while they'd rescued pets, yes.

"Have you done any more with that?"

"It was after," Asuna confirmed with an enthusiastic nod. "Yeah... once I learned about it Negi, the mage kid I have a provisional contract with, started to experiment on my magic cancel. So far it seems like magic does act funny when it goes near me."

Thankfully, now that she knows about the magic cancel ability there were less clothing damage. Unfortunately, less didn't mean no clothing damage.
