1st Floor Lobby- Sunday afternoon
Annie was feeling much better today than she had yesterday, which honestly, she preferred. After listening to radio, she'd scratched some ideas off her list of things to try. Baked goods were out, for instance. Quinn did that, and if Caroline was doing that, too, forget it. Besides, Annie wanted to reach out to the people who couldn't be swayed by delicious calories.
In the early afternoon, she'd gone to the lobby and set up her table. It was pretty low-key. Besides a glittery poster on the wall behind her and some fliers and lot of colorful buttons on the bright red plastic tablecloth (better to catch people's attention), that was it.
Oh, and the sign attached to the front of the table:
HELP ME HELP YOU
What do you want from your rep? I'm listening.
[So very open. And I am going to the gym for like an hour, but don't think I won't be trying to return pings from the bike. I saw someone checking FB from the treadmill yesterday.]

Talk to Annie
Re: Talk to Annie
"Free porn on the telly," he said as serious as he could manage. "That's what I want from my representative. Could you make that happen?"
[Someone had to talk to her and I'm sorry that I chose Nathan.]
Re: Talk to Annie
"I could suggest it to the appropriate people, yes," she said. Which was true. She could. She just, you know, wouldn't.
Re: Talk to Annie
Nathan didn't know Annie at all.
Re: Talk to Annie
"Not personally, but to each their own," she said evenly. It'd be an entirely different answer if she didn't have him on her list of seniors and didn't want his vote.

Oops.
"Er," he said, blushing slightly. His conversation with Quinn yesterday had alerted him to the fact that he was apparently running again, so this was awkward. "Hello."
[[Haaaaad to!]]

"I should apologize," he finally managed, grasping for straws. "In point of fact I had no idea that my name was, er, on the ballot, so to speak."

"I think the most important thing I want from my rep is that she's me." She was smiling, but she wasn't entirely kidding. "Hi, I'm Quinn. Nice to meet you."

"Definitely," she agreed, also pleasantly. "This is more exciting than last year already. Last year we didn't really campaign."

"Hi," he said finally, giving her a little wave. "Can I talk to you even though I'm a sophomore?"

Overly earnest, as always, that was Bobby.
