1st Floor Lobby- Sunday afternoon
Annie was feeling much better today than she had yesterday, which honestly, she preferred. After listening to radio, she'd scratched some ideas off her list of things to try. Baked goods were out, for instance. Quinn did that, and if Caroline was doing that, too, forget it. Besides, Annie wanted to reach out to the people who couldn't be swayed by delicious calories.
In the early afternoon, she'd gone to the lobby and set up her table. It was pretty low-key. Besides a glittery poster on the wall behind her and some fliers and lot of colorful buttons on the bright red plastic tablecloth (better to catch people's attention), that was it.
Oh, and the sign attached to the front of the table:
HELP ME HELP YOU
What do you want from your rep? I'm listening.
[So very open. And I am going to the gym for like an hour, but don't think I won't be trying to return pings from the bike. I saw someone checking FB from the treadmill yesterday.]

"Well," he said in an attempt to be reassuring, "It seems like rather a lot of work to put into my candidacy if she were to nominate another senior as well."
That was the wrong thing to say.
Re: Talk to Annie
"Oh." She paused. "Are you voting for yourself?"
Could you blame a girl for trying?
Re: Talk to Annie
"I, er, may have already promised my vote to Quinn," he told Annie regretfully.
And the award for the most awkward comment of the day went to...
Re: Talk to Annie
"Oh," she said, picking up the stack of fliers to make sure they were all lined up perfectly.
Re: Talk to Annie
BUT SOMEONE WOULD BE PRESIDENT, WES. GOD.

Obviously politics were not something he knew how to deal with.

"Er," he said, spotting a blue one with a lightbulb on it and picking it up. "Certainly. Thank you."

"Thank you. Same to you!"
