Sigh.

"Yes, all right." It was at least more intellectually stimulating than sleeping, at any rate. He did hope she'd be a bit better at it than Percy had been. "When would you like to do that?"

"Is Wednesday okay? After classes?" Kenzi looked hopeful. "I don't have classes any time after that, though. So it's all good, but I have to work Thursday night."

Sigh.

"Fine, fine," he agreed. "Do try not to kill us all, would you?"

But that was mostly good-natured. She had to be a better shot than some others he'd worked with Percy, so he wasn't terribly worried.

Kenzi grinned. "Just the bad guys and the monsters, Wes."

Oh, she would so be a better shot than PERCY! some people.

"Good," he said, nodding in satisfaction. "Well. Wednesday, then."

With a nod in her direction, he was off, hoping all the while that he would wake up in the morning to find the maintenance workers taking down the lights. Really. Please.
