Fifth Floor Common Room, Thursday Afternoon

Wesley? Was surreptitiously taking down some of the more... well, horrible signs that Kenzi had put up in the common room. They were all bad, but some were worse than others and so not going to be representing his campaign. Like, at all.

Once most of the worst offenders were gone, he disposed of them in the garbage and started making tea.

There. Productive day.

For awhile, Karla had been missing more than she'd been attending, so she was probably not the best person to discuss the morality of cutting with.

"I don't know," she said. "I'm pretty sure he doesn't even know our names."

"He'd better know our names," Annie decided. "If I'm going to do the insane stuff he wants us to, I am getting credit for it!"

"From what I've heard from the radio, I don't think the other faculty members like him very much," Karla mused. "If it turns out he doesn't, they'll probably turn their backs while we hit him. However many hims there are at the moment."

"That'll also make more of him," she said, "and I don't think I want to live in that world."

"Point." Dammit. They'd have to find another way. "On the other hand, that does pretty much guarantee one Madrox for each of us."

"Ooh. And then maybe we can try yelling at him till he cries? You know, just in case we don't want to go the punching route the whole time."

She was maybe a little bitter about getting freaked out over failing and then a C-.

"I don't know if he's exactly the crying type," Karla said. That took a little bit more self-awareness than Karla was willing to say their teacher possessed. "Maybe we could feel him Rilla's cooking."

Kettle? This is pot. I was hoping to talk to you about your hue...

"Is it bad?" Annie wondered.

"She's kind of awful at it," Karla admitted. "Though she went home over the summer, so maybe she's gotten better."

See, Rilla? Karla could be gracious!

"Maybe. Why'd the wall say yours was bad?" she asked. Because she'd also talked to Warren.

"Because Rilla wrote that and she's jealous," Karla said, tossing her hair.

She was half-right, anyway.

"You can ask Warren. He always steals whatever I bake. He's bad at sharing."

Because he was a humanitarian at heart, dammit.

"Yeah, he said he had dibs on all your stuff." And a healing factor.

Karla just smiled at that. "You don't have to listen to him," she assured Annie. Because she was helpful like that. "He can survive not having all of my cookies for himself."

[identity profile] annieadderall.livejournal.com 2011-09-09 06:40 pm (UTC)(link)
"Well, next time you make them, let me know. I'll be happy to try them." The healing factor thing couldn't be serious, right?
glacial_queen: (Conversation 6)

Oh, Annie. Poor, poor, poor, poor Annie. She'd learn. It only took one cookie.

"Next time I bake, I'll save you a few," Karla promised. "They're really good."

She only said that because she'd never actually had to eat her own cooking.
