Second Floor Common Room, Tuesday Night

Soooo, Kenzi had gotten the video she'd asked for from Topher... of various shots of Wes while he was teaching her about guns. And put it to a soundtrack. Then hooked up a DVD player to the TV in the Common Room and concealed it. It was on an infinite loop.

So, at random moments, Kenzi would amuse herself while watching The Spy Amnesia Movie on the Science Fiction channel by hitting the remote button, and having Wes interrupt it with his campaign.

Wes's video is nowhere near as complete or complicated as that one, but is mostly shots of him being badass and showing off guns to Kenzi, interspersed with "Vote Wes! For Fandom StuCo! Guarding Your Welfare!"]

"The only guarantee I can give you is that you lost a vote for Wesley with that video," Bruce snarled. Yes, snarled. Guns made him angry.

Sad Kenzi was sad. Also, slightly intimidated. And not moving her finger to put that commercial back on, nopes.

Calming down a little, Bruce decided to give an actual answer to Kenzi's question. "There's no guarantee. At best, any weapon is only as good as the person using it. At worst, a weapon is just a tool for destruction. Guns make destruction much easier than most weapons."

Thaaat... kind of made more sense. Even if it was depressing. She was screwed! And gonna die on this island next time! Kenzi stuck her lower lip out.

Why must Bruce make sense?!?

"I'd suggest learning how to actually defend yourself first, if that's where your interests lie," Bruce said. "Supplement that with weapons later if you need to."

"But trust me, 'he shoots things well' is a terrible campaign strategy."

"He explains things well, too." Which, you couldn't really see that from the video. Since those parts had been cut in favor of lots of shooting. Kenzi brooded on the video, sliding a look at Bruce. "I'm sorry if this, you know. Got to you and shit." She sighed. "It's so shiiiiiiny."

"Ohhhh." Well. That made sense. Kenzi felt kinda bad about this now. She wasn't sure Bruce was totally right: she still wanted a tranq gun. And a crossbow. But. Maybe work up to them, like he said. "Gotcha."

Kenzi looked over, re-focused, and said with some attempt to relax, "It's the third Amnesia Spy movie, with the guy trying to find out why he's been programmed to be an assassin. And mostly it's parkour and him kicking ass." She loved this movie!
