As the young women arrived in the Rec room for the sorority meeting, they'd find it nicely tidied, and decorated with blue and yellow balloons and streamers.

A table to the side held light snacks: crackers, cheese, vegetables, fruit, and the ubiquitous cookies, plus a pitcher of (so far unspiked) punch. Once everyone had gotten a plate and taken a seat in a rough circle, Quinn finally started to talk.

"Welcome to Kappa Delta Gremlin," she began. "Many of you might already know us, but -- since I see some new faces -- I'm Quinn Fabray, and this is my cochair, Rilla Blythe. Our faculty advisor is Miss Morrigan. We're here to help our school, grow as a community, and have fun. Thank you for joining us."

Rilla gave them all a little wave and put down the sock she'd been knitting (poorly). "I joined the sorority last fall when I was still fairly new to Fandom and it was such a help towards getting acclimated. Today we'll start off easy: with names, years in school, and your very favorite dessert." She smiled at the girl nearest to her. "We can start with you."

"And if you have any ideas for things you'd like to do this semester," Quinn interjected, "we'd love to hear those, too."

"I already gave Warren this speech," Quinn answered. "I think it's because girls think hanging out with guys is cool, guys think hanging out with girls as lame. I blame society."

A beat.

"Or else people at this school are seriously jazzed by video games and pizza."

"It's not lame," Tony replied because he had a girlfriend. "It's just... you can't do things you would around other guys."

Like discuss breasts.

Quinn arched an eyebrow. "Believe me, I understand that. But we can't forbid every girl at this school to bother the sacred fraternity. They haven't appointed me supreme queenly dictator yet."

"Girls have that?" Dear god, Quinn and Whitney weren't allowed to meet.

"No, but they should." And it should be her.

Where did you apply to be supreme queenly dictator, anyhow?

By beating all the other girls into submission, pretty much.

Tony nodded slowly. "I'll be sure to stay out of the way if that does happen."

Quinn finally smiled. "I'm kidding," she said. Though she wasn't, not entirely.

"It drives me as nuts that girls want to come to your meetings instead of ours, as it does you. Any ideas on how to keep people from crossing the line?"

"We could do something with both the groups, maybe?" A beat. "That doesn't involve video games."

"I can't speak for Rilla, but I'd like that," Quinn told him. "I talked to him about a relationship advice session, and last year we were going to do a fashion show but ran into schedule problems."

"Have you met some of the guys in the frat?" Tony asked. "Topher is in it."

Nuff said.

"So maybe no relationship session," Quinn decided, just like that. "Could you handle getting him to wear decent clothes?"

"Maybe if we distract him with Cheetos?"

"But then there's gross orange stuff on the clothes," Quinn pointed out. "We could just not let everyone model, but I don't want Kenzi to stage a protest."

She gave him a pleading look. "... maybe you have a better idea for a joint activity."

"Uh... a charity auction maybe?" He'd even been to one!

"Huh." Quinn had to consider it. "I like it. Do you know how to run one?"

"I've been to one, if that counts."

It didn't.

It so didn't.

"Maybe we wait a while before we do that," Quinn decided, diplomatically. "But I like the idea of working with you guys sometimes. We're all in this together, right?"

And bigger events looked better on college applications.

"Plus, it would give time to find something to distract Topher and... Kenzi?"

"I don't suppose we could just find a really big paper bag, shove them in, and see how long it took them to find their way out," Quinn suggested.

"Yeah, but it's nicer than dropping them into the volcano," Quinn said. "... I don't mean that."

Not all the way, anyhow.

"Also less illegal." Hacking was illegal too, Tony. And bootlegging things.
