Sixth floor kitchen- Wednesday late morning and afternoon

Today seemed to be a busy day for a lot of things, but Annie hoped people would show up for today's cooking extravaganza for tomorrow's Thanksgiving feast. When she wasn't in class, Annie was here, getting things set up or trying something from a recipe book. Cooking was easy, right? You just put stuff together according to directions. Nothing hard about that, and way easier when you weren't four.

Moddable ingredients and utensils and things were available for anyone who wanted to stop by and help!

[So open, and set so no one has to choose between this and reserves or the party. I may or may not be slow, so you'll just have to ping in and talk to each other too. *nods*]

"I guess we could," Petra said after she thought about it for a moment. "I mean, we could, just, like, divide it, right? Maybe make the pan with the oysters smaller in case people are like, 'ew, oysters.'"

"Yay!" Petra said. "Okay, so...gosh, I don't even know where to start. I was thinking I'd tackle pie? I can help with stuffing, too, I always help out at home so I sort of know how it goes, but again, hardly an expert here."
wasthecuteone: (ooh I want a piece of that)

"Oooh, pie book!" Petra said. "We're all fancy! I was just going to make the recipe on the back of the pumpkin can," she admitted. "But maybe I could try to do some kind of apple thing, too?"
wasthecuteone: (hmm thinky finger)

"Then some kind of apple thing will be happening," Petra decided, and started flipping through the book. "Hmm. This is hard. Everything looks tasty."

"They're very helpful," Petra agreed. "Okay, I don't even know what a quince is so not that one...oh, how about an 'apple crumb crostata?' It sounds like you sort of fold the apples up in the pie crust so it's, like, pie without a pie pan?" She showed Annie the photo.

"I'm going to give it a shot," Petra decided. "And if it sucks you can blame me."
