Sixth floor kitchen- Wednesday late morning and afternoon

Today seemed to be a busy day for a lot of things, but Annie hoped people would show up for today's cooking extravaganza for tomorrow's Thanksgiving feast. When she wasn't in class, Annie was here, getting things set up or trying something from a recipe book. Cooking was easy, right? You just put stuff together according to directions. Nothing hard about that, and way easier when you weren't four.

Moddable ingredients and utensils and things were available for anyone who wanted to stop by and help!

[So open, and set so no one has to choose between this and reserves or the party. I may or may not be slow, so you'll just have to ping in and talk to each other too. *nods*]

"Do you mind if we put oysters in part of it?" Petra asked hopefully. She was kind of excited about getting some oyster stuffing now, yes.

"Not if that's a thing! Do you...have oysters?" Somehow Caroline had not really bet on a bunch of students being good with cooking.

"It's how we do it in my family? But I'm from Rhode Island so there's sort of seafood in everything," Petra explained. "And I don't actually have them, yet, but I'm hoping I can still get some. I don't know. Quinn works at the hotel, and she said they're having supply issues, so the store might be, too."

"Yeah, we're more about apples than seafood," Caroline admitted, thinking of her own home town and how food worked for Founder's events. "But sure, it's not like you can mess up boxed stuffing, right?"

Just don't let Karla have it and everything would be okay. "I think you'd have to try pretty hard," Petra mused. "They do try to make it fairly idiotproof. Thank goodness, right?" she joked. Okay, maybe it was half a joke. She'd heard Karla musing on the benefits of tuna and powdered milk earlier.

"Seriously. Not that I'm an idiot, but really, who actually enjoys waiting for water to boil?" Not her, that was for sure. Patience was simply not one of Caroline's strengths.

"That's why you do something else while you wait for the water to boil. Like knit!" Petra made her own fun.

That didn't sound like making fun to Caroline. "I'm more of the...yeah, I really don't know what I'd do. Maybe go shopping? But then I'm not sure that's good for the boiling thing."

"Online shopping," Petra pointed out.
