abitlowkey: (that I did not expect)

2nd Floor Common Room, Monday Evening

The television was on in the common room. And there was a tiny god watching it.

That was not the strange part of what was happening, though. The strange part was what was on the television. It was a channel that proclaimed itself to be 'Logo' and the players upon the stage were men in dresses and made up as though they were women.

And yelling at each other quite a bit.

"Huh." He could only wonder if his brother knew of this.

[ooc: Open like a common room!]

Butters considered this and poor Marjorine had no idea what to think of the Amazonian make-over she was getting right now. Butters grinned.

"Yeah, that is pretty fierce right there," he agreed. "See, so that queen probably wouldn't even want a crown, it would just get in the way of all her spear-chuckin'."

"I think I'd rather have a sword," Butters said after a moment of musing. "Or a bazooka! BAM!"

Yes, that required shaping his hands as if around some invisible gun that was invisibly blowing up the TV once Butters invisibly launched it.

Butters was eying Loki warily back. And then his shoulders sagged and his eyes dropped and he let out a great big sigh.

"No," he said, "not really. God made me wrong, but that's okay. 'Cause wrong was how God wanted me to be, or else he wouldn't have made me that way."

"Oh, sure," Butters allowed amicably, "little-g gods. That's why they're little-g gods. But not the big-G God, because that's why He's the big-G!"

There was a slight pause.

"I thought I was," Butters said, blinking a little in confusion. "Did I slip into Mongolian? Sometimes I do that."

He added something that was probably Mongolian.

"Or Somalian. Oh, and I picked up Portuguese the other week, when we all went down to Brazil and I was kidnapped by pirates again. I bet it was Portuguese, then, 'cause that'd be the freshest in my mind."

Butters said something else not in English, though the brightness and the malleability in it was clear as crystal.

He giggled as he explained a second later, "That was 'okay' in Mongolian, jus' in case you were wonderin'!"
