First Floor Lobby -- Thursday All Day (Except During 3rd Period)

It was both rather exciting and rather nerve-wracking at the same time to be the one in the lobby today. Yeul set up the sign and the ballot box for homecoming court (though she remained vaguely puzzled about the purpose of such a court) and prepared to be around for the day, except when she had to leave for a period that afternoon to attend Wild Roving.

Despite her nerves (what if she messed up somehow?) Yeul figured that, all things being the same, she should probably not be concerned and that it was all right if she just relaxed.

Yeul eyed the glitter on her hands with rueful amusement. It would probably be all over her hair and clothes by the end of the day. Ah well.

"I tend to agree," Yeul said lightly. "Is there anything else that you do not like?"

"Um... being homesick, I guess?" Even if she was mostly used to it by now. That didn't mean she liked it.

"I do not think that can be used as a cause," she said sympathetically. "I am sorry. Perhaps we should talk about what you like, instead?"

"Or maybe I'm just not cut out to be a very good rebel," Rapunzel admitted a bit sheepishly.

She cocked her head, turning her full attention to Yeul. "What about you? What are you a rebel against?" If anything.

"I don't think I am a rebel against anything," she mused, tilting her head.

Perhaps against time? Though that was involuntary so maybe not.

"There's nothing you don't like?" That had kind of worked for Rapunzel, after all!

For a certain value of worked...

Yeul tilted her head. "I am unsure of that," she said mildly. "But suffice to say that there is very little I feel is worth the energy of disliking."

"What about mean people?" Rapunzel was sure that there were some. TV insisted!

Yeul considered that. Carefully. "They may not be who I prefer to spend time in the company of," she allowed. "But dislike is rather too strong a term for it."

Rapunzel considered that. "Well, are there things that you especially do like?"

"Caius," she said simply, without even the slightest hint of embarrassment. "Living."

That... was about it.

Living was a good answer, actually. As for the other. "Caius?"

"My Guardian," Yeul said simply. "He looks after me."

Rapuznel looked around out of instinct. "Is he here somewhere?" she asked curiously. If Yeul liked him, he was probably nice!

"No," she said softly. "He's back home. He thought I should come here, so I have, but he remained behind."

"Oh." Rapunzel's face fell slightly. "That sounds lonely."

"I will see him again." Which didn't change the fact that it was lonely but Yeul wasn't the sort to complain. "We still write to each other."

"Every day, I imagine," Rapunzel nodded slowly. "But at least you have that..."
