Fifth Floor Common Room, Saturday morning

As busy as she'd been recently, Jessica thought it was nice to take a Saturday morning, grab some cereal, and turn on the TV to watch some cartoons. There was just one problem with this.

"Boring. Boring. Boring. Boring," she said as she flipped through the channels. Apparently they didn't make cartoons like they did when she was a kid... well, when Peter was a kid, at least. Nothing seemed as interesting as her cereal.

And that's how Jessica ended up eating cereal while watching an infomercial for exercise equipment. No, it wasn't a good infomercial. No, it wasn't something she was interested in purchasing. But Chuck Norris was on it and it was mildly amusing to remind herself of a few years ago when he was somewhat relevant again because of internet mockery. Those were good times.

Atton paused briefly to think that over.

"No," he settled on. "No, not right."

"Okay, so how do you think it turns out?" Jessica asked.

"Either you wind up telling me more Chuck Norris jokes, or I get the satisfaction of knowing I irritated you without even having to get up off the couch," Atton said. "I might even take a nap."

"The only problem with that is the assumption that I'm irritated," Jessica scoffed. "You have to do more than that to irritate me. I live with you, for crying out loud."

"I could probably throw things, but that would take too much effort," Atton decided. "So we're at an impasse."

"Wow, you're lazy today," Jessica said. "Impressive so. I'd get you a statue to commemorate it, but I'm not sure you'd appreciate the effort that went into making it."
