Camelot Castle Campfire, Saturday Morning

It was not every day that Envy Adams found herself waking up in a bouncy castle. In fact, it had been around two decades since she'd last done it. And yet here she was. And admittedly, she'd felt far more dignified in her life than she did when she was clambering out of the plastic monstrosity, but her grace stats were pretty high by now. She looked fine.

And then she stood outside the castle, by the firepit, looking around while her not particularly cheap designer heels were digging into the ground a little bit. Fandom. Couldn't just let people come back for a high school reunion without messing with them, could it? Of course not.

Even after all this time, it felt kind of like coming home. If in a way that was somehow a little bittersweet.

"Not yet. I have a hundred bucks in the pool that says HELMET is next," Jessica said.

"As long as I don't get memos filtered through them."

"They'll probably be focused on time travel, so that shouldn't be an issue," Jessica said. "I have no idea how to make 'HELMET' reference time travel, but they'll manage it."

"No thanks. I was loaned up to help get ARMOR up and running, so that's enough cross-agency cooperation for me," Jessica declared.

"I deeply appreciate that you sound even busier than me," Sia admitted with a little smile.

"How does that happen, Your Highness?" Jessica asked. "I'm just trying to keep one world from falling apart and there are still people above me."

"Well, your world is fairly disastrous," Sia said, and sorry, but it was true, "where I deal with politics all day. Every day. My job seems much more boring."

She should probably not be so upset about being here instead of over there, no.

"And the most politics I get is people telling me I have to do more with a smaller budget," Jessica said. "That's it. I'm going to find a galaxy to be Empress of."

"Sure. It'll be just like a sitcom where we come to appreciate how tough the other's life is and how our current jobs suit us best until new shenanigans start next week," Jessica joked.
