Third Floor Common Room [Friday evening]

Celia had thought to simply sit on one of the sofas and read the book she'd gotten from the library. That sounded like a wonderful way to spend her first Friday evening here -- utterly relaxing.

That was until she sat down on upon one of the small black rectangles that seemed to control the television (she'd pieced together what it was and what it did from walking through common rooms the past week). The thing came to life with a blare of static and noise, and Celia watched as a thin man examined garments before what appeared to be a ragtag group of clowns.

"This concerns me," he informed one of them. And that was how Celia discovered Project Runway.

Before she knew it, she had been sitting in the common room for a solid quarter-hour, staring at the television. It wasn't until she began being inexplicably bombarded by ads that she realized she had been so mesmerized, despite the total lack of an actual story.

Television was amazing.

"My concern is genuine!" It was not.

"Liar," Alex said, his tone that of one merely stating a fact. Because he was.

Loki shrugged, accepting that for now. "However will you graduate, dear, dear Alexander?"

"I'm not that worried about it," Alex admitted. "And one of my classes this semester is on video games, so."

Loki looked deeply upset to have missed that class. "I have a class taught by a former chief of staff."

That didn't sound as good as the other class. Sorry he wasn't sorry, Josh.

Alex wrinkled up his nose. "Sounds boring."

Sorry, Josh.

"That is because you lack the wit to keep up." Aw yeah. He went there.

"Or maybe you just like boring things," Alex suggested.

"Says the simpleton."

Mature god was mature.

"Wow, you're really reaching, aren't you?" Alex asked mock-sympathetically.

Loki rolled his eyes. "I am so glad you are returned to us."

"I've been here all along. Not my fault you can't see past the end of your nose."

[abitlowkey]

"Perhaps you were simply too short for me to see."

[godofxbox]

Hush, he was due for a growth spurt. Or something. "Aaaaaaaand now the short jokes. Get some new material."

Both of them were, let's be honest.

"But this is such good material!"

[godofxbox]

"Although, I mean, I shouldn't expect more," Alex mused. "You are the god of lying liars, not the god of clever comebacks."

Loki rolled his eyes again, keeping up with his livetweeting of the show.
